a not so quick synopsis of the video: the mattress seller is the neighbor thats going at it every night, shaking up the room of the customer, whos trying to get a better rest because of that. the customer likely doesnt realize that the salesman is the neighbor or he already knew and tried to "confront" him indirectly this way. i think the customer being unaware is more likely tho with his social interaction portraying a sort of neurodivergent asocial/autism-like stereotype. the seller on the other hand is clearly disturbed by the customers display and aware that theyre neighbors or at least that hes basically quoting him. the audience when first watching the clip is unaware of this since its a normal reaction to have and then in the ending scene the customer lays in bed, awake because of the noise the salesman is making subverting the expactations of the audienceđ
I think a lot of people missed the point. The person at the end is the customers son, and the seller is not the downstairs neighbor. And yes, the customer did get laid.
