  • I wanted some extra grunt, so I'm adding this Rough Country Cold Air Intake onto my Chevy Silverado 6.2 liter engine. This thing is gonna sound incredible!

tbh i did vice versa with the coupler on my 5.3. ive seen multiple people install it the way i did it and then some do it the way you did it so not sure if it matters but i would think not

When it's cold outside and the temperature under the hood isnt bad, it does just fine, but our 6.2 gets hot and the heat soak is terrible and actually decreases performance tremendously. I removed mine and glad I did.

It's like flipping the lid on a Qjet. Nothing but noise.

It's a little peppier off the line. But the 6.2 is already pretty good.

Glad to have watched this.. Sounds dumb, but I want to ask if you’ve noticed any change in fuel economy? I’m guessing if it did save your a few tenths of miles in fuel savings, you eat that up with placing your toe into the throttle at each stop/start.. Thoughts?

Yeah, I haven't noticed anything but you're right. It sounds asp good, anything gained, is quickly given away because it so fun to hear.
