out of the 800+ volumes i own all of them have been read. i can never hold off of reading something. the second i get a series i binge it instantly. same day or within 2-3 days. i even take a volume or 2 to work 😭

I think this is my favorite video so far, it was actually really nice to watch you read! A good reminder that while I enjoy collecting manga to read, I need to remember to also engage in the hobby of actually reading the manga! So fun to be able to read alongside someone else, too.
I realy love to read when im bored. I have to take the train and bus everywhere i want to go so i often have long periods of time where i cant do very much. So i often read Manga or intristing Books in German or English. Its sometimes over 4 Hours and next week i have a 9 Hour drive to Berlin in a bus so already packed books for that

I've long accepted that my TBR is always going to be a bit on the huge side, but I do try to knock out at least a couple of volumes a day to keep it relatively manageable.

This was such a fun video! If you ever do one again, I wouldn’t mind a recap in the end of all the books you read during the 24 hours or some sort of volume count. As of now I’m unsure how many and which ones you ended up reading.

I also love The Apothecary Diaries. Agree with you on the romance but since I don’t think that’s the point I’ll take what I can get. The first four manga volumes covers 1 LN and with 10+ LN out I’m guessing it’s going to be even more of a slow burn. I really hope they adapt it all!

It's about a tanuki girl learning about rakugo and wanting to be a performer too.
I would need a week nonstop to read my TBR, lol. It's hard to find places and times without distraction, so I usually only read on a train or before bed.

I can't read that long anymore because my eyesight would get blurry and I would have to really focus on the text and that would end in getting a headache. 🙈 I wish my eyes would be as good as they were when I was younger but sitting in front of a screen all day is really bad for the eyes apparently.😵💫

It depends on the day, some days I can read for about 1-2 hours, but other days i can read for about 5-6 hours!

i have pretty bad astigmatism so I can probably read an hour or two straight before i get a pounding headache

I want to protect my manga from moisture and have ordered Manga Bags from Ultimate Guard. 🤔
However, I'm wondering if it's possible to craft my own "bags" and achieve the same effect. For instance, I could wrap the manga in a roll of plastic wrap and seal all the edges with tape. This would likely be more cost-effective, and the wraps would be truly airtight. Otherwise, I'd have to buy 100 bags for 10 different manga sizes, and none of them fit properly or have varying amounts of air inside. Not only does it look bad, but it's counterproductive if there's air trapped inside.
I and many others have already done this, namely covering textbooks with this type of plastic wrap. It's essentially the same thing, right? 🤷🏼♂️ And I'm willing to take the time since I'd be putting them in a bag anyway. So, the duration isn't really an issue.
