I sorta disagree. They didn’t do anything that bad in the footage besides just kinda being dumb about it. If they were messing with him the entire time I would agree but I don’t know if that was the case. Sometimes it is actually helpful to have a friend come fuck with you a little to help pull you out of your mind and back into the real world during a bad trip. Maybe it’s just a personal thing but that would help me. “Ah they are acting chill so the world isn’t ending like my brain is telling me”

This seems like a nightmare group to be greening out with. For people who supposedly use a lot of weed, they were some of the most unhelpful and least experienced acting people I’ve ever seen. They either really don’t understand weed at all, or they’re trying to squeeze content out of everything, regardless of if they’re friends suffer from it

a lot of stoners i’ve met are like this. it’s a person thing; more based around their character, not their lack of experience with weed. it’s caring more about their experience that night than their friend’s
The thing about greening out is that the experience is rare for stoners because of how high our tolerances are, plus most stoners haven't eaten that much THC at once. Even with a higher tolerance, 400 is an insane amount for one dose. Above all, the best you can do is have a snack, drink water, and find a relaxing activity.

I know no one's ever overdosed with weed before but I get super annoyed when partygoers don't take people getting sick at parties seriously. People laughing at someone getting sick or saying they can "sleep it off" aren't friends. They're negligent, people die that way. Also a hospital isn't going to report underage people or illegal drug use to the police, they're there to treat it so no one would get in trouble.

When you said “my body feels like rubber bands” I felt that because the time I got obscenely high I remember telling my roommates “my feet feel like highways.” and it made perfect sense at the time because everything was TOO DAMN MUCH.
The times I’ve taken more than 20mg, I described myself as ‘living in a noneuclidean world,’ and ‘existing as the subject of a bill wurtz video.’ I couldn’t differentiate reality from dream and imagination. I’d hear things that weren’t there, I remember blips of conversations that never happened. I was hearing but it was if every sound hwere the same, and yet I could hear all the same. It felt I was sitting along the edge of a serene calm and raging anxiety. It was a very mid experience, I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s been months and I haven’t touched a puff of weed since.

I 100% relate to this. I accidently ate a 300mg edible my first time getting high; it was painful, dizzying, and shitty. I couldn't tell if my eyes were open or not. My sister had to pry my eyes open to get drops in. I was either glued to the couch or crying face down on the floor. I was high for 3 days. Never again

first time I got high I used...like 2 gummies 20mg I think total...it was my first time so my body never experienced that feeling so I was...at first it felt nice buzzing....then it got stronger and I was nervous...especially since my mom was cooking busy not near me and when i went up she had me cut the onions and my dad was there....my dad got very annoyed when I want beer sometimes so i was really scared what he would think if he saw me high on marijuana...doesn't help voices were swimmy and my vision was actually tilted and it would almost hurt....if i stood or sat still luckily he didn't find out and eventually it went down but yeah....even now when I do edibles I still have an intense feeling of dizziness and blood pressure cuffs all over my arms and legs

@@soaringspirits2267 its because when your shoes are off you tend to be at home or somewhere comfortable, and in his case he was touch sensitive so less pressure on your feet can help. some may be uncomfortable bare foot, so socks are plenty comfy if barefoot isnt an option.

The recent 4th of July my friend brought over a plastic bag with over 2 sticks of weed butter in it. This weed butter amounted to 7,000 mg. We shared this among three people total. Me and two others. We also sprinkled some mushrooms on them. It stopped being fun after 3 hours. I had ended up being high for 5 days straight, and I lost my sense of smell. Lesson learned? Be careful with everything.

I work at a hospital in Illinois and since it was legalized here a few years ago we get a LOT of patients that come into the ER after ingesting edibles. Either they accidentally ate some like Ted or they ate too much. 90% of the time they’re given a low dose benzodiazepine like Ativan and sent out the door. And let me tell you, edibles combined with benzos is an incredible combination.

It can be used as medicine but its a drug no matter how you look at it. People get high. People take too much. People have horrible experiences with it.

Sure he's dr.benshrooms. what helped me more personally is micro dosing. I don't take a lot at all I'll only eat a cap or two and I'm good for the entire day. It just helps to clear your mind and cleanse your soul. Very hard to explain... It's like trying to explain colors to a person who's never been able to see.

@@chefyana2251 The first time I did edibles I did around 100-200mg, I was feeling like a "time loop hole" kept repeating, and i felt super shaky. Then I tried watching a documentary about drugs and it felt like they were staring at me through the screen lmao

Oh man, I went through this with the EXACT same product. I bought it at a dispensary and came home, saving it for the night as I had nothing to do the next day. Soon as my family went to bed, I started watching CZcams videos on my TV and decided to eat the ENTIRE thing.
Normally edibles would kick in for me after about an hour. This entire thing took only 20 minutes, and I was already feeling pretty unsure of this high for some reason. After only like an hour I realized I had made a biiig mistake.
So I went to bed in hopes of sleeping it off, and to my surprise I managed to sleep pretty well. Woke up feeling really heavy the next day, and pretty off in the head. Luckily the high basically ended there.
I honestly got off pretty lucky...

My friend got absurdly high and started doing math equations out loud for some reason. He then started to feel worse and got real quiet. I said "hey do some more math for us" and he said "I'm math-row up" and we all died laughing.

That bit about your sense of touch bring overloaded is interesting. My sister experiences something similar as a chronic disorder called hypersensitivity and it's basically what you described where the brain just takes in way too much information and it's actively painful to just exist. Interesting that it can be brought on by doing excessive amounts of weed, but it makes sense.
Edit: holy crap she also sometimes has to lie flat too. That's from a disorder called POTS that means her blood vessels don't pump blood well enough to exceed the force of gravity, and so her brain doesn't get enough oxygen if she stands for too long. So she needs to lay down in order to allow the blood to flow easier.
I took a 500 mg once and was high for three straight days. To wake up high not once, but twice was one of the most alarming ways to progressively begin back to back mornings I could imagine.

Returning to this video over two years later to point out that Ted actually had *over* 400mg because he was already high at the point this happened. Also the cut between "there is a very deceptive way the snacks were laid out" to "there is a very reasonable way the snacks are laid out" is perfect comedic timing.
It's actually an indeterminate amount because there's no such thing as an infused nerds rope with nerds packaging. It's street shit and probably synthetic cannabinoids.

he said he smoked half a joint, thats not a whole lot of THC plus the high probably wore off by then mostly. video title still says "400mg edible". also speaking from experience, smoking a little while before taking edibles seems to actually make the high more tolerable and less intense. now, doing it right before/after or while edibles are hitting, that's a different story. i mean he was fucked either way, even if he didnt smoke before (who knows, maybe he could have been less fucked if he hadn't smoked before, everybody is different) but usually when i take edibles while completely sober, they hit much harder, theyre much more intense because theres no tolerance built up in the short term. even if i smoke and then wait several hours or even 30 min to an hour before taking an edible, i more often find myself more disappointed by the edibles not being strong enough. basically smoking before can kind of take away from the fullness of the edible experience

If you notice your friend has taken WAAAY to much THC, calm them down, make them comfy, and make sure they're alright. Cause, I've taken too much edibles before and it was the WORST panic attack of my life and I was by myself cause my roommates were asleep. Just having a friend next to you to make sure you're ok can help out A LOT

Finally, a good way to explain how I felt when I smoked a few times. I couldn't sit still because everything would hurt, but like a deep ache that wouldn't go away, so I had to keep moving. But the movements were Parkinson's like movements. That would get tiring so I'd wanna go to sleep, but if I stopped moving, everything would hurt again.

I remember one experience where I tried one of my mom's edibles and had an uncomfortable time. I recorded my symptoms on my phone (which included feeling like I was in a laggy game), woke my mom up because I was worried I'd need to go to the hospital, and eventually went to sleep after a period of uncomfortable dizzyness in bed.
I think I had another, not quite as uncomfortable, edibles experience with her gummies before deciding to keep away from items not solely containing CBD.
I’ve come back to this because me and my bf were discussing edibles. I’d once made an edible and I ate the whole thing, and immediately passed out and then was high for two days straight. We calculated how many mg it was, and turns out it was 900mg. Honestly don’t know how I survived that.
