Imagine having Floor as your back up singer. This really shows up the real talent that Marko has. An amazing man.
The song was written for Marko as the lead singer and Anette for the backings. Floor does the backings, naturally.

Marco was speaking Finnish at this Tampere, Finland 2015 concert, its very nice. You have so many good songs to watch from NW from many concerts 👍 We will miss Marco for sure. Anyhow, i'm still excited cause i'm getting to see NW concert with Floor first time this Saturday here at Kuopio, Finland (Kuopio Rock). Only 3km from my place 🤘🤘

Such a beautiful, genuine reaction to this wonderful song! I do believe that Marco was speaking Finnish....since the concert was in Finland. I often wish that I grew up in Europe, and had the opportunity to learn other languages. I still can communicate a little Spanish..but not like I could back in my younger days!
I know your new too Nightwish so im not sure if you know that Marko left the band earlier this year for personal reasons , we'll miss him deeply BUT his well being will always come first .....hopefully he finds what he needs and who knows maybe he'll return one day .

The whole concert in Tampere is beautiful. I love the catwalk which places the artists in the middle of the audience. Floors parents are also a part of the audience for the first time at a NW concert.
'The greatest show on earth' from Tampere is amazing. It shows how much NW love their work, their fans and the whole crew.

That's a very common thing with this band, as you're starting to learn. Keep going, the ride is a beautiful one!

There are very few people with the courage and ability to walk out in front of 22,000+ people and casually converse with them as if it is a small club or an informal gathering around a campfire, making everyone in the venue feel included in a special, intimate experience. Yet Marko does so as if born to it.
There are also very few people with the vocal chops to sing solo in that position, then have Floor Jansen join in as a backing vocalist 😎
This is written by Marko himself, with Tuomas helping him finish it up. What he is saying in the middle without any subtitles is asking the audience if they will join in if he sings the chorus.

❤❤❤ Dasha, when you are in the mood for some other Nightwish songs with Marko vocals, try High Hopes (End of an Era 2005) or 'While Your Lips are Still Red' from Wembley 2016. And a Marko duet with Tarja (the first Nightwish singer), 'Phantom of the Opera' from End of an Era 2005.
As for languages, that was Finnish. Tampere is in Finland and that was their big home show from that tour. ❤❤❤
Great reaction, uplifting and genuine. I love to see people so enjoying Nightwish. You will find that they will surprise you on a regular basis, as their repertoire is so varied. How Tuomas keeps his compositions so fresh is testament to his genius. He really is one of the best composers out there. Of course, it's an immense help that he has perhaps the finest vocalist currently in music, in Floor, and a superb group of musicians in Kai, Emppu, Troy, and the new Jukka, to give meaning and voice to his writing. And, of course, let's not forget Tuomas's immense skill on the keys! Subbed. :-)

Hi Dasha! 🤘 Nice reaction, i like all your NW reactions a lot! 🖤 Specially your first of "Ghost Love Score" and your 4th of "The poet and the pendulum", what was an emotional ride for you, but not only for you, for me too. 😉 Watching you how you like "The poet..." and your emotions along the song, specially at the end was so cool! 🖤 I also had tears in my eyes! I liked when you say after your first 3 NW reactions you feel so good, powerful or hyped and so on but after "The poet..." you feel like your hearth is broken, tired and you only would be cuddled. 😍 That was so nice and sweet!!!
I like this song "The Islander" a lot, Marco has such a good voice and i really love the whole conzert from Tampere '15, Wacken 2013, Buenos Aires 2019 and Tampere 2015 are my personal Top 3 live conzerts with Floor, Wembley 2015 is also a great conzert, you see "The poet...." from there! I don't know if/when you do an reaction of the Nightwish song "The greatest show on earth" but if you do it than please do it from the conzert in Tampere 2015. I know, some people say do the Wembley '15 version of this song and i also like that version but this is an indoor conzert and Tampere '15 is an outdoor conzert and they can do things outdoor they couldn't do indoor but i don't want to say more. I couldn't wait for your next NW reaction!

Nightwish has always been amazing and since Floor arrived, they were the best iteration we had ever seen. Was sorry to see Marco take the break, but it's totally understandable. Still my favorite band of all time. Nemo and Wish I had an Angel got me thru Iraq in 2003-2005.

the most amazing thing for me about nightwish is that this band is like a positive emotion bomb. they have such an intense positive radiance on stage its contageous and that even with their lyrics and songs often exploring quite dark parts of life. they always pick me up on their storytelling journey and leave me as a better person.

If you wanna hear Marco in a different setting, he actually became famous from his own band Tarot, maybe the first heavy metal band in Finland in the early/mid 80's. So when he joined Nightwish it was a pretty exciting thing back then. Tarot's most known song is Wings of Darkness, they have the original version music video from 1986, a classic in Finland, and a newer version from 2011. You should check either one out. Marco is also considered by many to be one the best male singers in whole Finland so he is definitely highly talented.
You should also watch (just for yourself, not react) the official video of this song, since its also really beautiful i think.

This, like many other Nighwish songs, is composed by Marko for Finnish cinema.
The part without subtitles translates something like "I suppose if I sing the chorus, you'll sing it with me. Right? Okay, here it is.". (Google Translate: "Полагаю, если я спою припев, ты споёшь его со мной. Правильно? Хорошо, вот оно.")

I like your reactions. There is some reverb on your voice, because your room seems to be very empty. But with headphones for me that has the effect that the sound of the music video seems to come from my computer, while you seem to be in the same room.
