We use to come out of the Club at 6 am in the morn. Good healthy fun. " Carolina West" by the LAX in Los Angelees! No fighting or gun play, just good fun! It is a shame our kids never got to experience how adults had FUN!
Back then there was just a few music platforms to showcase your talent, Soul Train, American Bandstand, Solid Gold, etc. Today there's countless, which is why the quality of music has suffered.
Choreography was super plus, back in the day. It's plus now. We just grow older, the groups "like Shalimar, just appear crazier. Howard, Jody, +3, are still alive, kicking it now. I'm 80+. Still think I'm 25, listening. This music replays songs like it is 1985. Thanks. God Bless All!!

I'm a 70's guy. Great Music in that era along with all the 80's songs. 90's still had sone good songs but nothing like the 70's &80's.
I'm 58 and still listening to this gem. I'm glad that I was born in the right era to enjoy such wonderful song.

I was a deputy sheriff in 2011 and conducted security for Howard Hewett when he preformed in Belle Glade Florida.
I discovered the soultrain about 35 years ago when i lived in NYC .and got quickly addicted ! But then in 95 i came back to France and there was no way by then to watch it...then came CZcams and i am on it daily for the soul train best moments. Still in 2023
