Man, I miss Soul Train. All us suburban white kids got our taste of R&B on Saturday mornings - when I was supposed to be out mowing the lawn! I love SOS band. Have this on CD and play it in the garage all the time. Kids walking by stop and listen, so that tells you something right there!
This was a FANTASTIC time to be young. Fantastic music, everyone dressed hot, we had hope for the future. Now what? Music sucks, no one dresses up any more, and hope is dead.
BB when a song fills those spaces within you, you genuinely know that “this” is something special so naturally the song stands out much more than your typical listening choice.Adding to the fact no doubt that the word “special “ is an accurate descriptive choice word that automatically sums up the song. It’s a good and unique feeling is it not??

Nothing scratchy about her voice. It’s smooth as silk.
I remember jamming to this song on 79Q in Houston TX back in ‘83. Good memories. I was 15.
I was just starting Primary school at the time. But, I had a huge crush for the lady. Her, and Evelyn "Champagne" King.
If you've never heard this on a huge set of bass speakers , you haven't heard this song .
Billy Ocean with all time favourite, CARRIBEAN QUEEN 8:15 min extended version. Mid 80’s
A classic to say the least. Love that vibe. Right up there with the rest of the notables!!!!!!
I believe it’s the quality of speakers not the size. I’ve heard big speakers that sound terrible, while on the other hand I’ve listened to smaller quality speakers that sound amazing, but very expensive. Add a sub and the required bass is evident
love you howard
who could possibly ever dislike such an incredible song
The people that dosent know English.
Shame!
I ❤ this song
One of my favorites of songs of all time
One of my favourite tunes of the 80's this was real beautiful and fantastic music bring them all back shalamr Ew&f soul to soul and the list goes on and on
she is wonderful. never enough credit given to her or the band
Man, I miss Soul Train. All us suburban white kids got our taste of R&B on Saturday mornings - when I was supposed to be out mowing the lawn! I love SOS band. Have this on CD and play it in the garage all the time. Kids walking by stop and listen, so that tells you something right there!
I love 💕 this song so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤
One of the greatest songs of all time!
People were so damn fit in the 80's.
No internet and cocaine everywhere.
The dance floors..
Lots of cocaine
Brilliant
We had too much fun...everybody hit the dancefloor for sos
One of the greatest songs of that era!
Disco Fire 🔥💃🕺for best Dancer
At 62 and I'm still listening . Bless everybody.
Yes sir!
Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis had the MIDAS TOUCH!!!❤️🔥🏆💃🏾 The Original Hitmakers!
Agreed!!!!
This was a FANTASTIC time to be young. Fantastic music, everyone dressed hot, we had hope for the future. Now what? Music sucks, no one dresses up any more, and hope is dead.
Absolutely true , moma 'nem had it going on, that's how I got my r&b appreciation on!!✌️✌️✌️✌️
40 years later and STILL one of my favourites, it just proves that good vibes never die!
The intro gives me goosebumps. The whole song is all tiptop memories.
BB when a song fills those spaces within you, you genuinely know that “this” is something special so naturally the song stands out much more than your typical listening choice.Adding to the fact no doubt that the word “special “ is an accurate descriptive choice word that automatically sums up the song. It’s a good and unique feeling is it not??
cll me
@@dylankane6397 Very true!
@@bijoubijou6446 Hello Bijou

I was born in 93’ and I’m in love with sos band music fr it hits the soul
That bass intro was like dropping the bomb! Brilliant song and band. If only we had music like this today. x
The 80's were the best decade for the club scene. It was a 10 year party. So fun.
This kovid1984 generation will never ever enjoy what us ole disco heads lived through - the best music ever....the best times...full of good looking women...top tracks...& great memories...
After 40+ years this cut and others of the SOS Band still holds the test of time. And why?? Cause they took their time and did it right!!!♪♫
Worked at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, saw them 3 nights on the trot, never will forget the nights.......amazing, had the crowd in their hands.....best times.
Can someone please invent a time machine!!!!!

Yes, It's already been Invented, too bad they have a limited restriction on who goes back in
time. Seems area 51 has definite rules for time travel, though most people don't know there's more than one way to travel through time. 11:38 pm, CST, friday, 4-23-2021.
