- A Utah couple thought they lost their feline friend, but were surprised to find out it was more than 600 miles away in California. KTLA reports on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Everyone knows that everything shipped goes through noisy conveyors, gets stacked, tossed around, man handled aggressively for due dates delivery, and temperature's unaccommodating at warehouses, shipyards, or delivery trucks. You could put fragile for "non-liive" items. With plastic wraps or condensed cardboard for protection. But as a past UPS employee. I call that animal cruelty for a living entity!

@@ShongoStick How can they NOT have known? You must not own a cat (or any animal)...if I closed my cat in a box, I would know it in about 30 seconds, max. He would be moving around, meowing, and the box would be shaking like crazy. It's cruelty & they knew what they were doing.

Yikes, the poor cat in the box has to go through conveyor belts and being thrown around during the delivery ordeal. The vet should have put the kitty up for adoption instead of returning to the idiotic owners.

I hope this couple never has children. They are absolutely lying through their teeth. Anyone who has ever owned a cat knows they wouldn't stay quiet for long if they are trapped/confined! I've locked my cats accidentally in the bathrooms and closets too many times to count, each time, they have wailed and scratched at the doors like babies. The smaller the space, the more freaked out they get the longer they are in there. They don't deserve that cat and should've never been given the cat back, that is animal cruelty, plain and simple.
I have 4 fur babies and I would know. Your cat as soon as you packaged it up it’s not like you take the box and run it to the mail post office that quickly. Usually it sits on your table for a little bit even possibly in the next day even if you did it immediately like within like a half hour, your cat would make noise and jump around the box so the story just doesn’t make any sense you would think even at the post office they would’ve noticed something something is wrong with the story she needs to be investigated for Animal abuse

My friend's cat in the late 90s was shipped to Puerto Rico inside a moving container. His cat died in the way there. My friend contacted the moving company right away, but he wasn't found until he got to Puerto Rico.

How do you not notice there is a cat in a box, the weight would shift when you picked it up, or he would scratch the sides as soon as it started moving.
Good thing he made it, being locked in a box for days would kill me, not from starvation or dehydration, just pure fear.
