Nice combo! I ordered the 140A with the 3665 motor for my onroad car build.
Look great love all the programing that we can do to them and the temps etc. Good value aswell going to try this on my senton 3s at some point thanks well presented.

Can i use the 80a esc with the 3665 motor?
So can you still manually program these esc with the set button and remote/beep sounds like older hobbywing esc's? I tried the same method as with older hobbywing esc's but have no luck..im basicly asking can u still program these without the lcd box/bluetooth etc?
Have they sorted the OTA programmer software problem out for Android phones yet. It seems there has finally been an update so will try again, fingers crossed
They should come with ec5 most battery s are ec5 connectors
So a quick question I have the new combo with g2 140amp esc and the 2400kv g3 motor I have a guy telling me that it is not sensored that the 6 pin connector is only for temperature is this correct or is that a FULL sensor system
He says it's not fully a censored system whatever that means it either has one or it doesn't correct

I just order a 4000kv unit. I am new to RC (few weeks) and didnt do much research but seemed like the play from what i did. How do you like yours and what is your set up?

Is there thermal cutoff on these systems? Is it just ESC thermal or motor too like normal max10?
Can the programing port be used to power an additional fan?

Love the very detailed videos.
I seen a few systems for sale online and some have the color coded motor wires and esc locations. And some are just all black but are lettered.
What's the difference? One newer than the other?
Models had colored wires. Most of today's do not but have letter markings on the case, or colorized shrink tubing on segments of the wires.
So how would the 3665 3200kv do on 4s? In a heavier truck outcast 4s v2 my 120 has killed two 70$ servos and gets hot almost instantly and how would it preform with a gear ratio of 20p-50s?
Is timing changed for production? Is there only 20degree timing in 80amp esc?? (i want more) I looking for this with 3652 4100kv for my new 2wd SC.
@HOBBYWINGOfficial can you run these ESC's in the Blinky class for 4wd and 2wd 1/10 buggy?

I notice the esc fan spins for a couple seconds then goes off. Does it automatically come on with higher esc temps
Yes, Max 10 G2, have temp sensing fans and only run when the ESC needs it.

Of course. Removing the plug ends, and re soldering them were they are needed.

Yes, the newer G2 ESC will work with the older motors in sensorless mode.
Does the Max8 G2 ESC work with the new G3 3665 Motor?! sensored.

Hey Charlie, I noticed you mentioned that you can run the G3 motor with a different ESC? I saw the adapter but it looks like that is to use the Max10 ESC with a different motor, not the other way around. Any help with that? Thanks!

We are working on releasing the "other" side of the sensor cable adaptor, but do not have it available at this time. Should be posted to our accessory section along with the other adaptor when they become available.
Got a quick question, when im setting the throttle range, i follow your steps, hold set, turn on, then release set once it starts blinking but when i go to click set again when its in nuetral, the red light stops blinking but the green light doesnt come on, any fixes for this?
We'd suggest starting with the good old 'servo test'. Here's our video on it:

One can be "DIY" made out of a piece of material. Lexan/Poly Carbonate flash from a body works well, or any semi flexible abs/nylon style plastic.
I just bought the ezrun max10 g2 80amp combo..im converting from nimh..what lipo 2s C would you suggest i use?

would one or the other of these be better suited for my new Tekno ET410.2?
For many, they go with Racing systems from the XERun series over the basher based systems like this.
@@HOBBYWINGOfficial had the 80 amp in my tekno truggy for a few months now and it is working great! But i will be looking at getting the 120 amp to put into the truggy and the 80 into my soon to be acquired Team associated 2wd buggy. Ithink lol.
I've been trying to get more information on this but I have a Tekno 410.3 SCT roller I came across. It is a somewhat heavy 4WD SCT. I want to run it at my track. 2s is all you're allowed there. For heavy 4WD SCTs, should I target a 540 sized can brushless motor? Or 550. My understanding is a 550 sized motor will run a pinch cooler & more torque. Really I'm just looking for a motor suitable for a SCT like that without absolutely breaking the bank. But curious on any thoughts anybody has. thanks.

I’m looking for a combo for my Typhon 3s. With the Max10 g2 140amp esc which motor would be best running on 3s and 4s 2400 3200 or 4000. It will be just a basher vehicle.
Most are very pleased with the 3200 for 3s.
@HOBBYWINGOfficial Don't think the new 3665 fits in the MT10. Would the 3652 3300Kv with 80amp combo be better. Looking to get to 50-55 without overheating.

Hi buddy, there are very little to no videos online to demonstrate the low speed startup of these systems. Could you maybe do a short video to show low speed and drag brake? I want to see if it is suitable for RC trail use since it is waterproof and sensored. I do not like the FOC on Fusion systems so I'm looking at alternatives. Thank you for your detailed tech videos.
Overall, they work "okay" for trail/scale usage, but in the end, a dedicated crawler system works a lot better and, has a stronger BEC. The drag brakes in the non crawling setups, are also "okay", but just not what most crawlers really want. More so, when compared to any of the dedicated crawling combos.
On the FOC setups, you can turn off the motor pairing, or "lower" the FOC feel in the Fusion Pro and the Axe R2 combos. This makes them feel more normal when it comes to "faster driving".
Would the 3300kv motor do 50mph on a 1/10 4wd
That definitely depends on the type of car and the gearing it could but you might need to change a few things.
