It's unusually hot here today, just over 102. We're dying in the shop. No work being done, huddled in the office AC eating Otter Pops watching in awe as Sarah manages to be productive *and* still look pretty in 110.. 😲
@@TML34 so is cremation
@G Bogart and we don't unfortunately get the "it's a dry heat" like they do in the desert...
The innuendos per minute ratio was off the chains for this video jeez. 😂
this is why we watch sarah work, anyone new to sarah-N-tuned needs to watch this episode, they will be hooked, help the by liking the video
Reminds me of Wizard and Hoovie
Anytime the mechanics talk about lube....
In You Endo ?
Sarah ,you work so damn hard in and on these videos I will never understand the thumbs down ,how you don't burn out is a mystery to me love and passion only goes so far
Sarah…you are a blessing…especially the humor
I binge watch your videos. Listening to you talk through what you’re doing makes it all the more interesting.
little AN tip.when i get the nut on the hose i take a tapered punch and put some Eaton hose lube on it.then i push it in the hose to help open it up a bit.fitting goes in nice and easy and you do not have to worry about taking a chunk out of the inside of the hose.done thousands of them this way.
Sarah, you are so freaking adorable and beyond skilled. You and Mr. Dos are full of win!!!
What’s as tedious as programming an ECU? Vloging and editing! Sooo appreciate your dedication to bring us this content Sarah. Don’t change a thing. ♥️
The casting couch has matured from an actual casting couch to classy outdoor furniture. Progress, I like to see it.
A classy outdoor casting couch. XD
The most uncomfortable casting couch imaginable!
Mr. dos is coming along nicely Sarah. Love to watch you work and go down your ocd rabbit holes. Stay awesome!!!!
Always a pleasure to watch you figure things out.
I know Nothing about cars, but i found amusing watching you doing what you do!
Your car is practically perfect. Really impressed. I love it.
what car ?
Haha. Your videos are always entertaining. You have proven that working on ones car can be clean work. Car looking beautiful
Omg!!! I had a 94 MR2 in college and loved it! It's now in the garage waiting for me to make more money to rebuild it lol
My hat is off to you...I would have quit long ago👏👏👏❤️👍🇨🇦🇺🇸
Sarah... Your gonna have to upgrade to PTFE fuel lines and fittings eventually.. The ethanol rots the rubber within 6 to 12 months.... Your doing an awesome job! Your a true inspiration!
Thanks Sarah.
Your very tenacious !
Max respect !
Your a fighter on the fiero ...
So sweet I sure wish my mechanic looked like Sarah, I wouldn’t mind going to the garage more often!
That engine is BEAUTIFUL!
June 23rd, finally rain in Phoenix and Tucson after like not seeing rain for a year, we were celebrating like you. Great work and beautiful MR2.
I highly doubt anyone would stop watching her videos. Her awkwardness is adorable. I think her big eye moments are a bonus.
But would it send you mad...?...lol
Your commitment and attention to detail are very noteworthy. You have my respect. Mr Dos loves you.
LAST!!!😁
Happy now Sunday Sarah!!!
Tucson Dragway starting line till 0200.
Thank you Sarah for busting your ass for all us people of the interwebs, it is much appreciated.
Stay excellent!!!😎
Really enjoyed the variety of music in this video. Now everyone go back and watch the video again, just to double the views!
May be the whisky, but i think you should get a BAFTA or two and several Oscars too for the video edition; from the Caravan to clasical music to tarantella to electronic music!?. You're a damn genious!, not only a great mechanic; i'm glad that soon you'll have it done and running.
Such a precious moment Sarah to see you feeding the little squirrel. You're a kind and beautiful Lady, I like that.
The paint on the MR2 looks great in this video!!
The black hose fittings look soooooo much better than the red or blue anodised ones too many people use!
Looking forward to seeing how you wrap the loom.
Sarah, you make otherwise boring stuff be entertaining with your passion, knowledge, and humor! absolutely love your videos. Cheers from Brazil!
lady, you are really speaking my language restoring such an amazing yota. in japan the factory hp was 242, so this baby was keeping up and even out running the r32's and nsx's of the day. not to mention it takes a highly skilled driver to handle on of those mid engine mr2's ... i love me some hondas, but with that being said them front wheel civics and integras dont require nearly as much skill from its driver
I love you and your channel Sarah!
Stop watching you Sarah and miss some of the best videos on CZcams not possible.😜
Sarah..you have a kind heart..loving animals...super cool!!!! ... 😎😎
I'm getting anxious to see this thing run . PLEASE let it go smoothly, and soon 🙏
So interesting to see all these troubleshooting steps getting Mr dos closer to the time the engine fires.
Engine Art with Sarah
Looks very nice. Its worth annealing copper washers (propane torch to red hot then dunk in cold water) to make them super soft before installing.
You are great!!! And I love your edgy whit and wisecracks. Did I say you do first class work. And the bonus is that you are and 11 on the 10-point scale.
Yeah, the ECU sees tdc based on a spec of degrees after the missing tooth on the crank. You'll probably have the ability to adjust that spec in the ECU as well as physically fine tune it on the trigger wheel. The other thing that's important there is your ECU using either the rising or falling edge of the signal from the sensor. A lot of older, factory Bosch ecu's will give you a 3 degree ignition advance by swapping the signal wires in the crank sensor, as it inverses the signal, making the teeth look like the gaps.
The cam sensor is so that the ECU knows what tdc is what, not it's position but compression vs exhaust stroke, and is used primarily for injection timing. Crank is used primarily for engine speed and position, since it's a much higher frequency signal (many more teeth, spinning twice as fast)
Due to piston dwell time, your high point at tdc is more of a range of a few degrees of crank rotation. To be exact, you want to watch the indicator and mark the rotational position of a specific 'height' both before and after tdc, then split the difference of the marks. So that exact tdc is your position between the same reading as the piston approaches and departs your 0 point.
Vibrant makes some nice hose separator clamps that I think you'd like (other brands too). I've seen them in 3 way too, but never with different diameter holes, which it looks like what you'll need. You can use a piece of hose around a smaller hose/Hardline to fit the clamp and secure it better. When it's trimmed up well, it looks super clean.
Nice work here.
On a mitsubishi v6, with a 3-prong crank sensor & 3-prong cam sensor, when they both line up at the same time it is TDC. Hall effect sensors only know on/off, so to adjust timing the ECU is waiting x milliseconds from the last time it triggered, depending on RPM.
It's like starting an aircraft for the very first time after a major inspection, overhaul, painting and rewiring job. There's a lot of nervous anticipatory energy out on the flight line.
I have no idea how I found your channel, but I'm so damn happy I did. Gonna binge watch... (After I study a bit. Stupid responsibilities 🙄)
You are so freaking talented with your mechanical aptitude! Sometimes time a actually forget you are so dang pretty! Luv your channel and this car. It was one of my youth dream cars.
You're doing an awesome job Sarah. 👍🐧
You’re doing an awesome job on Mr. Dos ! Great video !
Impressed, much more complex than I would try and without fire or even breaking a nail.

Talons of an owl or owlons

All that patience, incredible 🤩

Awesome. The Rosa Diaz of car tuning vids!
You can’t say you suck at computers when you’re able to produce all this content! 😉
The innuendos were off the hook! 👏🏻
Was there any doubt everything was going to work 1st go? I had none! 😉😎👏🏻
Can’t wait to hear it fire! 🔥🙂
Your awkward moments are kinda 🔥 love it
Working with those nails has to be a superpower!

Run Mr. DOS, Run!
So entertaining!
BTW your engine bay so clean because of your diligent/meticulous work 👍👍
Seriously I wanna be you when I grow up. Your build is an absolute work of art. Immaculate, methodical, and all sorts of big words that mean you are awesome at what you do.
I shared the happy moment when the ECU powered up and you got it connected to the new laptop and no smoke or fire. :) Very satisfying and accomplished feeling. Well done Sarah. Always loved the MR2 and especially yours. Love your quality work, attention to detail.
I'm really glad that you let me know that you don't leave engine bays that messy because it just so happens this is the last video I'm ever going to watch!!!!

You always have such great music! Keep the OCD going.
So that’s where all the 10 mm wrenches go when they want to play hide and go seek!
Next to the 10mm socket
Do you know how many tools I've recovered when my F-15 would return from depot (German contractor) or paint (Messerschmit) and we had to pm the biatch before the exceptional release. ( exceptional release...now that's an inuindo)
Always great to hear the pilot say "it sound like a Yatzee cup back there"
I literally dropped a 10mm socket into oblivion while working my wife's car this past weekend. I looked for an hour and couldn't find it. Oh well. Didn't fall into the engine or the serpentine belt system.
I enjoyed the new innuendothon upload :)
We all know you work hard Sarah. We appreciate your enthusiasm and passion for working on Mr.Dos. You have some solid skills indeed mate and your funny sense of humour makes everything alright.👍🇦🇺😁🤪❤️☮️
❤️ All you do Sarah! 🙏☘️
I knew this would be a great video when Sarah when straight to playing the flute after getting off the casting couch. LOLOL
I knew this thing was going to turn out clean. 😎
Loom is my new favorite word!
Glad you got the ecu part figured out !
I liked the classical music part, it added some class to the video
Perfect quality of video love it this agreably
Girl you are hurting me 😂 thank you 😊
@Chris G - agreed. her sense of humor is fire
What a sense of humor!
You’re brilliant if you don’t have any wiring issues!
You are almost there!
I'm watching your videos so you're not sad, and because fun.
As always, great video, thanks Sarah!
Yay!
Nice job Sarah!
14:40 New Zealand accent - nice!
Haltech Australia but could have been a NZ operator. I suspect the time difference might have been the problem there.
Or, Link in Christchurch…
@@wasabicube my thoughts too
Oh gosh! You probably get a blizzard of similar texts, but here we go:
Had you been my build partner back in the day, my junk hotrod ding of late model American junk would have looked pretty, in addition to running like scalded cats.
First confession : your stuff likely runs better than mine ever did, which sort of establishes a garage hierarchy.....
Please keep your OCD!!!!
Don't stop can't stop.....
Your videos are an ongoing source of unexplained joy:
Thanks a traizillion!!!
The detail you do is second to none. I like the hard work you’re doing, you’ll have the nicest MR2 when you’re done. 🤞🏻on starting it up.
Damm Sarah, you are taking OCD to next level great job :)
movin up in the world Sarah
Great choice of music as usual!
