The close-up of Indy attaching his whip handle under the truck had to be redone in the ILM parking lot; that's why the paint color changes: they had to use a different truck.
ahhh, how cool! the stuff ILM got up to to make these movies what they are is incredible. there's an ILM documentary that follows them through inception and tons of movies afterward on disney plus if you're interested, there's so much amazing behind the scenes info
FUN FACT: the light saber noise is from the back of an old t.v in the 70s 😆 it made a humming type sound so the recording engineer literally recorded the back of his parents t.v for that sound and the rest was history 😆
