It's amazing how depending on the block you use, it has a different mass in the game

@@clockspeed1836 Nah, if you google it there's already a spreadsheet with the weight of all Minecraft items, and Java can import C libraries to help calculate things.
If anything this just took time, not effort. I don't see anyone talking about the physics engine they added.

I would change 2 things:
1 dome
2 put one way portal, from immersive portals, inside Goals leading to the center
It won't work, eureka isn't compatible with Immersive Portals iirc
idk if it works but why not use create pistons to push the ball to the center?
that could work, but remove the immersive portal part of your comment

To make the floaters or any other ship follow the current, there's an option in the mod config, where you can turn the option on :)
That’s fluid drag you’re talking about right? Well that’s for causing drag in water to slow stuff down, BUT in a handful of weeks triode said he would add that as well as slippery ice and bouncey slime

Idea for the goals: Just have the floor go down, and make the ball roll downhill to one side in the middle of the field. Then, have it go up a water elevator with the floaters, and then roll down a ramp into the centre

The ball just clipping out of the field is something that happens in real Rocket League as well if it's moving too fast.

Check out Valkyrien Computers, it's an addon for Valkyrien Skies and CCTweaked, so you can use programming to control the ships, also Violeta Cannons adds cannons that work with Valkyrien Skies

Very nice vid, always love your content! I saw you said that the create pistons didn't work, is it the same for blocks on rotational chassis? At least you can have the bottom of the goal swing inward with those. Also, have you tried other entity movement options like fans or conveyer belts? Heck, if all else fails I bet you could use a vanilla zigzag-ing line of pistons to push it to the center, and then have some vanilla flying machines to raise a platform in the middle. I'm just spitballin here, but good luck trying to solve it!

Shalz you didn’t make rocket league in Minecraft, you made Top Gear Car Football in Minecraft
Idea to bring the ball back:
•Make a repeating command block detecting if an entity(the ball) is near it aka the goal.
•Remove goal floor
•have a slope downwards (just blocks going down diagonally) until it is below the center.
•Possibility 1: build a soulsand bubble elevator or use floaters to get it to the top. Then detect with another command block and let the ball through
•Possibility 2: let it land on a fence surrounded by tnt droppers and let it get shot up by an explosion.
Now you may be able to do it all with command blocks. Maybe just have a repeating command block detecting entities and a normal one teleporting all nearby entities to the middle.
May work, may not, I hope it helps anyways.
Edit- I just noticed that I had the same ideas as a couple of other comments. I didn't mean to steal any of your ideas and hope noone feels robbed of their ideas.

What you can try to do is put barriers above your car so when you try to go to the goal the barriers above the car don’t allow! Add a pressure plate that the ball can hit, and you can score!😅

My favorite part
An idea for ball centering is have pistons under the map push up walls to block the ball (Like bumper rails from bowling) then use a create piston that moves one block at a time (so it turns back into blocks and hopefully effects it.) to push it back to center.
There are a few debug items in the misc. Tab

You can make a mechanism that retracks a wall near the center and then launch the ball with standard pistons and slimeblocks. the wall will stop the ball from going any further

In the next updates, vs will make slime blocks bouncy and honey blocks sticky. Also will be added friction
He go surprisingly close to the default speed of the cars, if only he made a boost mechanism that sped up the car for a short duration
You may be able to _teleport_ the block to the center. It _should_ be an entity. (Again, haven't tried this mod myself, but it's definitely an entity. Sometimes physics engines don't like teleportation though.)

Use slime blocks and pistons to push the ball once it falls through a goal and then bounce it up through the center

Idea: Use Valkyrien Skies but the 1.12.2 version as it is WAY different and it's cooler.
I think the reason so many people are excited by this mod is that it works in 1.18 which if I recall correctly is the first ever custom airship mod past 1.16

I made this in Minecraft and tried making the ball system with the create mod but sadly the mechanical piston turns the blocks that are on it into host blocks 😢
Just as a suggestion on how to make the car jump is you could put pistons that push under the car making it jump and with help from balloons you could fly for a bit
You could make with immersive portals for reseting ball
hopefully with create aeronautics theres gonna be a way to reset the ball

Man you really need to use the Create encased fans. They can suck up and blow mods and objects like lit TNT. I bet it probably would have worked on the ball too.

Use Create with Rotating Wheels to make better Cars
Also Build a Bigger ball and then make it into a Mini Ship so it rolls
Save the ball using the structure block then have the command block load it in while the old ball drops into a pit of explosives (fyi I play on bedrock so I don’t know much)
