    I never thought about oranges, what is going to give them the best nutrition for what will be eating the would you gut load before feeding them. If so how or what? Thank you for your very informative videos. I know there are a lot more roaches in each tub, do the bottom dwellers come up? Do you ever want to move and see who’s not coming up to eat? Probably those male. Lol I see lots more videos in your future 🤞🏻

    Is it better if there’s less egg crates? I have around 300* females but on a 100+L bin and i feel like they’re breeding slow. There are like 50 egg crates in there and i think that’s one of the problem. Is it?

I’m worried then they won’t be meeting up if there are too many crevices. Also, I put oranges in their colony today and no one has touched them. Is there something I should be worried about? Thanks!

      I recently started mine and short answer is No. You want the fables and males to be able to locate each other. I just took out like 4 flats last night.

    • @NeuroticLobster
      @NeuroticLobster Před 3 lety

      Start with a couple flats and add more slowly over time as the ones you have in there start to get crowded. Also to get my dubia interested in oranges, I smash them up in a little food bowl to release some juice. Just make sure the bowl has a rough texture so they can climb in.

      So you know you feed bearded dragons greens too right and citrus helps the roaches breed maybe you should try a different feeder cause fuck the reptile community, tarantulas die in your care so we use roaches and you shouldn't.

      From what I noticed it's mainly about temperature 75f 85f so you could just have an empty tub with toilet paper tubing a cartons and that's about it and they'll breed and I sometimes uses spray bottle to just missed in there just have humidity but not too often cuz sometimes the food that's in the container would mold so once every week I do
