  • This video will show you how to Ollie on a skateboard the easiest and right way. The Ollie is the most basic maneuver and foundation for all kickflip and Heelflip tricks. If you’re a beginner or advanced skater this video should be a useful tool in your back pocket.

    I think a another good tip to mention is to pop down and against the direction you are going in. The board makes better contact with the front foot

    great video. im really struggling sliding my front foot up and crouching down on the board. also ty for mentioning putting pressure on the tail. ur ollie’s are very clean and really emphasize how it’s a teeter totter motion. ur videos make sm sense.

    Great video! Could you explain more about the motion of the front foot kicking forward? I am doing stepping my front foot down(with a little bit forward direction)

    This is great!! But one tutorial I have watched and helped me so much says the opposite regarding shoulder position, it says have both front of your shoulders almost facing towards the front foot and it actually worked for me!!

    Saw your kickflip vid and now this, just subbed my man, absolute perfect ollies and kickflips. I've been trying to unlock the back leg tweak for ollies for over a year now and still no success. How can I learn it? My ankle just doesn't want to rotate that way haha

    • @skateboardtheory
      @skateboardtheory  Před 5 měsíci +1

      I think other than maybe working in some ankle mobility and jumping easier, just practice your Ollie’s a lot, I learned to tweak them from doing Ollie’s up kickers!

      Get more comfortable with rolling around first, maybe on small ramps and quarters. Also doesn’t hurt to try on grass, carpet, or in a doorframe holding onto a pull up bar.

    Culture has made us belive this is the first teick you learn. The ollie is one of the hardest tricks in skateboarding to get right and look good. My feelflips are better than my ollies.
    Stay RAD Sir
