I like all the characters really. Oddly enough I feel most of the characters were much better then Kida, she just wasn't flushed out enough but everyone else was. Though yes Vinny is King. You know his voice actor pretty much improved the entire movie. Also Audrey is adorable. I love her outfit at the end of the film when she holding Milo's cat, so cute, so looks so lovely. You can tell she's a very lady like young lady for being so tough.

I think the following can be considered unhealthy: 1. Fall from a balloon at least sixty meters up in the air onto hard rock. 2. Be on the ground where said balloon then crashes down. 3. Be present when a volcano errupts.
A beautiful and perfect movie that is unfortenly underrated and unknown by many of this generation. Atlantis needs more live, as well as Treasure Planet.
Well I on the other hand think no version beats Polish Packard, with her subtle boringness of all the situation in her voice and generally great voice acting (actually after hearing that and a little bit more of original English dub... i was like 12 when i first saw that movie and i admit...the moment Miss Packard puts on the speaker and your hear that noise and see the Leviathan in the background...that gave me the creeps.
Ahh, such a great movie. This scene effectively developed several characters (all very likable), built tension and transitioned into a great action/suspense sequence that would still be a refreshing experience today. Fantastically animated too. It did all this in about 5 minutes without feeling cluttered or rushed at all. What’s really crazy is THIS WAS A FAMILY MOVIE. There were so many great animated family features coming out during it’s time, nowadays these kinds of movies feel like they are rolled off a conveyer belt... obviously things can’t stay good forever!

That ancient guardian left me in awe and terror. The Atlanteans built that war machine with the power of an ancestral crystal. Its massive hulk occupied by the souls of their own people and used for war in their empire.. Damn man..

With all the pointless live-action reboots from Disney, why can't THIS get a reboot? I've always considered this movie to be proto-Steampunk - not quite the Steampunk we know and love today, but definitely laying the groundwork with futuristic antiquated technology and alternate sources of power leading to an alternate version of Earth. A reboot could give us a Steampunk Washington DC before sending us to exciting new underground scenes building up to the majesty of Atlantis.
I dunno for a live-action remake... Many have pointed out how the plot of the movie feels similar to the plot of "Stargate". Mind you it's a BETTER told version of what "Stargate" did, but people would not shut up about the similarities. Instead of a remake, I'd make some kind of semi-sequel to the original movie, since the direct-to-video sequel sucked ass.

This was honestly one of the scariest moments in the movie especially as a kid. Her very casual and laidback demeanor, then just putting that sound on speakers made chills go down my spine.
People that watched it didn't hate it, it wasn't popular because it is very non Disney. The short version is that one, there is no songs, two it had bad advertising making it seem more like a somewhat bad action flick instead.
This movie was so radically different in animation and storyline that it wasn't as well-received as some of Disney's other animated movies. This movie is GOLD ♡

That's actually a great piece of characterisation. It makes sense given both of them seem quite a bit older than the other members of the team so they'd be the most friendly. She attracts his attention the same way an elderly lady attracts the attention of her husband when the issue really isn't important and she literally doesn't give a shit. Also, its literally the same audio clip played again and again. Swear to god.

That's actually a great piece of characterisation. It makes sense given both of them seem quite a bit older than the other members of the team so they'd be the most friendly.
She attracts his attention the same way an elderly lady attracts the attention of her husband when the issue really isn't important and she literally doesn't give a shit.
