If it's in your car the method I found that worked was just disconnect your slave, have someone watch the top where the reservoir is and push the rod against something and it'll push air out from the bottom, takes sometime to get it out but that's how I did it.

That's true, I used the method you suggest to make sure my mushy clutch wasn't just some air in the lines. And it works great if everything is already installed. Since the mushiness remained, I made the decision to just replace everything and it was just a little easier for me to pre bleed everything before installing the fresh parts. Especially working solo that day.

Question: I just did this on a used unit, replaced the fluid ( real dirty ). Installed it in the Camaro ( No engine or tranny in it). Hooked the pushrod to the clutch pedal and my clutch pedal is rock hard, wont budge? Is that normal? First time working on this hydraulic clutch system.

Sounds normal to me. Once the slave cylinder is mounted to the transmission, the clutch fork should should push the slave cylinder in a bit and the pedal should feel normal.

Question... how do you get the hydraulic line from the master off of the slave?! I got a new tick adjustable master cylinder and that's the one part of the process I have yet to figure out 😅😅 I may replace the slave while I'm at it but either way, I need to disconnect it!
    Mine is a 97 Z28. I'm sure it's exactly like yours.

There should be a pretty small roll pin in the cylinder right by where the line connects. It has to be tapped out with a small punch or you can even use a small nail probably. Once the pin is out, the line should come out pretty easily.
