Donovan was obviously messing about when he said he did not know the song, the record was a big hit for cliff Richard and most of the country would have been singing it
Loved hearing this. Didn't know the song. Each of their contributions to the performance were outstanding and complimented each other. Especially loved seeing David Bromberg, don't see/hear about him a lot. His slide guitar was perfect.
I'm 77. I was never very impressed by Donovan. Turns out I'm still not. John Sebastian however, and Lovin' Spoonful? Sebastian had a voice which absolutely suited their songs, different class altogether.
What a sweet rendition of this song. Such talented musicians...Wow! Donovan many thanks.
Mr.Bromberg....genius..saw The David Bromberg Band at Cambridge Folk Festival in the 70's incredible..
Oh so sweet ! 🎶👏🏼💜
Loving these old Donovan videos! Please keep them coming!

How sweet that was to hear.....thank you for posting.
Sweet!!
Great harmonica by Sebastian, who played harp on the Doors albums.
Danke für den Song ❤❤❤❤❤❤
How cool/awesome! Thank You Donovan. Love You forever. Kisses. Michelle
Cliff Richard's second number one in 1959.

Herman's Hermit's recorded Traveling Light back in the 60s.
Right On!..
Lol right on right on
I remember Herman's Hermits did this song on one of their 1960s album.
Fun song, thanks.
eternity is the end meeting... The extent of one's life is measured by their ability to touch things... _when I go..._ no...
Great!
Cliff Richard & The Shadows
had a hit with this about 1960
Can't remember who wrote the
Song
I think Conway Twitty once sang this.
Sid Tepper and Roy C Bennett who wrote around 300 songs many for Elvis.
Sid Tepper & Roy Bennett. A No 1 hit for Cliff in 1959. He rerecorded it with a different arrangement in 1974.
Danke nochmal ❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂❤
Cliff Richards and the🎉🎉 Shadows

Is Bromberg playing open A?
Do I hear Dylan's I'll Be Your Baby Tonight?
Cliff Richard
He could have had the grace to say the hit was sung by Cliff Richard or took the time to find out. Poor show.
Lighten up. Cliff Richard didn't write the song, Do you really expect an artist to name everyone who performed a particular song?
typical moronic internet comment
