Awesome vid, super helpful. At 4:59 there's a faster way to update the trackers: right-click the torrent in the top/list section of the window, and then select "Force Re-announce". This does the same thing; it pings the tracker sites and says "hey, i'm here, please connect me to some other people". It definitely helps btw; i'm downloading it now and I just went from 10 MB/s all the way to 25 MB/s
not sure how you did it, but the installer can not find the installation files from torrent, it does not matter where files are placed. I placed on root folder, subfolder.. in your video installer only misses a few links.... in fact here it can't find any of the torrent files downloaded. installer version 1.37.2. Thanks for trying anyway
and the cool part is since nobody is technically distributing the whole RBR at once nobody can be charged for piracy since it's not RBR, it's just some parts of RBR. that way you avoid doing a crime when distributing. dope stuff.

Hi, i cant run the installer, wen i click on run as admin, the installer just dont run, i tried so many times in diferent ways and doesent work, i amost check the hash md5 to see if has someting wrong in the installer binary but the hash is the same, even turning off the windows defender noting happens when i run the installer, somebody know how to help me?

As others are saying, this just doesn't work properly. Got the game up and running but half the files were missing. The torrent system overcomplicates things and creates problems.

The torrent system has changed slightly since you made this vid and offers more options which can be slightly confusing. I can see how people would be confused by the torrent method. Bit of a shame you cant just download the sim without it anymore. I get why you cant though. I did get the game and all the mods downloaded in the end though. I got it all stored on an external hard drive and was surprised to see that the sim even runs on a crappy old laptop that im using at the moment. Not had chance to test if my wheel works with it yet though. I have an old Thrustmaster T300 Ferrari GTE. Soon as i get sorted with a new PC i will test it with the wheel. I had the same problem a lot, I try to do everything you say in the video but when it installs (the final installer) it says its missing a ton of files and i press ignore and it goes to the run page in rsf and it exits out saying it needs more files but I have free space. Im very confused why this is happening, I dont know if you have a solution? I might be where its being downloaded. Please help me, thank you.
Installer needs to be in the same folder as RBR. I had the same issue and closed everything. Moved the installer to the folder and it solved the issue.
7:52 im getting this message ”There are no RSF installation packages in the selected folder. Pleas select the rsf installer files folder!”. Ive done everything correctly and i have selected the file named RBR install which was the folder I placed the rsf installer files in. Pleas help😢
i had the same problems minutes ago, in the second option, the one that is in the bottom, you need to select not the main carpet, you need to select the carpet wich you installed the torrent for RBR, and thats all . (sorry for m,i english, but I hope this helps😁)

Quick question, if I already have the game installed and wish to update it do I need the torrent client at all? Or can I just download the latest installer and do everything as usual?
i have a provlem the speed is ultra low ... and the dpwnloading stops nearly every second ... i have good internet btw so wtf is this ? Does somebady have a complete folder of it ?
There is an extra step. At page where it shows installation folder.. regardless if your installation folder is there already, you need to use Browse button to locate your install foldre, and then installation will find files. Im ignoring other errors and seeing what the result is.

Does anyone know why my main menu stutter on rbr? In gameplay its fine but as soon as i select something in the menu it stutters

Torrent is stalled, will not download a single byte of data.
Yea, unfortunately that's qBittorrent. I moved to BittTorrent and it found seeds tho. Just be careful of the adwares containing that program
