Here there are suggested activities that you can do when visiting Carunchio as Chiesa del Purgatorio, dated back to with frescoes from the 16th century depicting the Last Supper of Jesus and a female figure in the vicinity of the apostles; on the top of the hill there is Palazzo Tour d'Eau, built by a prestigious French noble family in the early 1700's..The altitude in Carunchio is about 700 meters, which is around 2,000 feet. The temperatures in the summer don’t get too high because being situated in the mountains, there is no humidity and carry chilly nights.There is a nice temperature excursion between day and night, providing very restful nights. A very interesting festival is the "Infiorata" with the tradition to decorate with flowers, altars, sheets and blankets the street on which the procession of Corpus Christi passes, tradition that during the time, came from simple folk custom in sublime art form. In the town all basic amenities.
