The problem isn't the 'low cost' house, it's the ridiculous fees and taxes. I wanted a 20k property, and the agent wanted an extra 7K. "For what?" I asked. They could not answer, just an advert. Crazy!

Excellent...for a single, retirement/vacation home. Most important for me is to know if it has newer Electrical wiring, with air condition/heat info. How many stories, (stairs,)...and if it has good public transportation, or drivable roads. Also, how many minutes or hours, away from lake or beach, or ski resort/airport. Balconies and roof terrace is good, or small garden area with fruit trees. Thank You Very Much !

Other things to consider as relationship with an agent and their cost taxes and the whole closing process. I will be in italy next month and in the Abruzzo show area May and june. I have been researching for the past six months. If everything aligns i'm ready to buy. I live in texas right now.
