After red dead redemption 2 whenever you search tb there is always one person who says Arthur Morgan rip
Coming here to learn more about the history of TB after playing Red Dead Redemption 2
It’s sad what too many people have had to go through while the medical world was so lacking in how to treat diseases.
Although medical care has come a long way I encourage everyone to read and educate themselves on illnesses. Too many times I’ve seen where medication is the only treatment, and education about prevention and natural treatments are ignored.
This video should be called the "CANADIAN History of TB"
i thought it too.
That may be true, and it could also be called a genocide. However it is labelled, it seems to me that the powers that prevailed at the time took extreme measures (which may or may not have been justified) but then "forgot" the impacts that their decisions had on individual lives.
RIP Arthur Morgan
watching this after tested positive
I'm not vietnamese but somebody who is vietnamese in my family has had tb for years and it sucks for her. lots of love
So sad. Cannot imagine the trauma caused to these little children.
I know their story is tragic, but I feel the title is misleading. I had assumed this was a documentary on tuberculosis. This would be better titled as the Suffering Tuberculosis Caused Native American Communities.
Rip Arthur Morgan
Still we are about 8 Billion
Who's here in quarantine?
My boah arthur died from it
it is not comparable to the deaths that caused LUMBAGO
Lower back pain?
Terminal Lumbago my son. A slow and painful death
Tell that to uncle
They should have indicated what years they were in sanitoriums - since super meds began in the 50s.
Toxic "Super meds" is what caused the spread of multi-drug resistant strains of Tuberculosis around the world and has made it the No. 1 infectious disease killer in the world today.
Garlic is a better cure for TB.
I survived TB due to these “wonder drugs” . . . my mother died from TB because she didn’t believe in meds/doctors.
Wow! Native people suffered all the way of around from European settlers..
TB was also present before the settlers and evidence of it has been found in ancient Peruvian mummies. It's an incredibly old disease; but the settlers were directly responsible for transmission to many communities which makes me sad too.
@@birdgirl1516 ..nah, pretty sure the settlers brought that shit with them...
@bathoryAriaa. .closed minded people never accept facts. .you poor thing😂😂
If you knew anything about actual history, you would know that they also were conquerors who fought other Indian tribes and enslave them as well. They also had many diseases among themselves.
@@ninabirdsong9910 based on what, other than your own racism?
1949 😥
Who’s here after Arthur Morgan
@thebccdc - Timeline 03:28 you state "1st Nation Communities" - - Don't you mean Indigenous peoples or tribes ??? ( Surely these are - Inuit and Métis.& Canadian Indians )
.
Are you trying to be 'politically correct' ??
.
I mean, we go by both. Theyre pretty synonymous for us people who are indigenous
I have a home on this planet
I did not choose it or plan it
It has red soil, grass and rain
My ancestors cut down the trees
When the Elms died of disease.
I feel their spirit and joy and pain.
Across time and the globe it is so
This means we need to know
If among us are any who plan
To take out a sub-species of man
I say they have to pay
With their money and lives this day
But tomorrow stands in my gaze
A haze of machines in my sight
Or rather me in theirs
Because I do not consume
Their flesh, my brother's body
Or their whiskey or power
I will drink water from the sky
I will grow plants that heal
I will not beg, but borrow and steal
That which might save my life
Or that of my child or my wife
Or sister, or friend
Somewhere this chain must end
So much theories and stories, so little data. Like it was some kind of mass hysteria at the same time. I wonder how many cases that was diagnosed correct?
We burn everything. The risk vs benefit is higher than to let it live. 🤴🏻🤌🏻
Pyres.. perhabs? J/k.
