  • I can't say enough about this flagpole! This is a veteran owned business, so I wanted to make certain that I ordered my new flagpole from them. It looks great in our front yard.

    My father was in the Marine Corps and my son was in the Army National Guard for 15 years working towards a full career when he was killed. I put bricks in the bottom of the hole then set my sleeve and filled it with concrete and leveled it. Then I let it set for a couple of days to let the concrete cure before setting the flag pole in place. That way the pole sets on a solid base and won’t work into the ground. You did a good job and your flag pole looks great.

    O ya but the premium solar light and put up on it and at night it’ll light up you flags real nice..if you get one that has a rubber push button on the bottom to turn it on buy about three quarter inch thick washers and put them on then the light then the ball because if you don’t when the flag try’s to twist around the top plastic piece will get hung up on the rubber button as it try to turn around. If you put washers under the light this gives your plastic flag holder piece clereance to mice the rubber button used to turn on the light as it swivels around….I think the premium don’t have the rubber button on bottom thought..

    Hey 👋!!! I bought this same flag pole and if they would have had it in the thirty at that time with the push pins I would have ordered it….Your flag pole can never be to high so if that was your wife asking you if that was to high you tell her I said your flag pole can never be to high.LOL!!!🤪. This is one of the nicer flag poles out there so you made a good choice and as a matter of fact I fly three flags on my pole so you do have that option and if you ever want to do that I can tell you how…Just watch out for super high winds if your flying two or more….I the American 🇺🇸 flag another flag and a nice embroidered POW flag …If you want the link for it let me know…

    Nice job, flag pole looks great! I'm considering buying a Freedom Edition flagpole myself. How has yours been holding up in the wind? Which flag did you end up upgrading to? 4'x6' sewn and embroidered?

    • @joedanreed
      @joedanreed  Před 2 lety +2

      Yes, I got the sewn and embroidered flag. I don't see a problem with any winds, as they have tested this particular flagpole in winds over 100 mph. It is real easy to take down, and light. I will have to say that I am very impressed with this product. I've always wanted a flagpole, and happy I chose this one.

    Level across the top is the wrong measurement. Most likely, a pipe cut is not square to the pipe. What you should have done was to measure for plumb on the base pipe.

    • @joedanreed
      @joedanreed  Před 2 lety +1

      I actually have mine at about 20' right now. The answer is yes, you can raise your flagpole as high or as low as you want it. I need to make an updated video to show all of this. Thanks for watching.

      @@HunterBoyRichie7 I went about 2 feet deep and there is no way 3 bags of concrete would fit.
