  • Let pour some expensive stuff in the tank to see if we can learn anything about Pittsburg Power’s product, Max Mileage. I’ve heard good things on the Tube, so let’s try it out. I’ll show y’all what you get. #diesel #ram #pittsburgpower #additives #cummins #aisin

We use Hot Shots Secret fuel additives in our diesel pickups. On my wife's '18 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins. Using the Everyday Treatment, fuel economy improves in as little as 5 miles. Without the EDT, her truck was getting 13mpg at 63mph, carrying out 4wheel popup camper. After puting one treatment in at fillup. Then cruising 63mph, the milage went up to 20mpg.

i been using that stuff over years in f550 7.3l she is no joke but egr and catly conver always get clogged no matter what it wasnt big deals was easy fix it ever years
have pull catly conver out n put in barrel 55gal water n soap mix in it (draw) and egr kind in tight spot and once get it out and easy clean it with brake cleaner and stick it back in there and nextday pull catly conver out and clean thur water and let it dry for next day n come back n stick it back in truck n run for over years with mixer in fuel aint no danged done to engine or else it just needed deep cleaning which diesel always get dirty no matter where u go keep truck maintenance alot it save your headache for later
dodge have big problems with def on intakes which why it cracking cause fluid leaked into engine burn out tail pipes and make you have go back refill it every time which i understand it took long time for replacement parts arrived which they all wasnt in stock when truck was released on market that be reason took forever i understand you so frustrating over it im sure you get over it and find ton information about it head of time

Imagine spending $75,000 on a truck you can't trust and have to do extra shit to keep it running. F that, I'll keep rebuilding my power stroke every ten years

If you do a lot of city driving or short trips it can cause issues. There is or will be shortly a PCM update for the people that drive a lot of short cycles like delivery drivers. If you run a lot of highway miles and run a good quality diesel fuel, you should not have any worries about the DPF plugging up, they have a very good extended warranty on that DPF as well. No worries😎 make sure you wear your helmet when you fill up with that stuff😄

I work on everything from excavators to compact diesels whats going on is the attitude towards all diesel and gas powered vehicles is "who cares were going electric" this has been the case since 2018. I did a full overhaul and upgrade 2010 sierra for one of my best people it was 1/3ed the price of a new truck he just hit 15k on the clock not 1 complaint people have already offered 50k+ to buy it off him but like everything else i build for my people it's not going anywhere find yourself a top notch honest tech and have him R&R your chevy in 5-6 even 10 years you'll be thanking yourself.

If you can get out of it and not loose any money I would. I'm not expert and it seems 2022 hasn't been a great year for diesel trucks in particular and if I hear right Ram is leading the charge. I also have a ram but a 2014 the emissions equipment cause my vgt actuator to fail so I replaces the turbo among other things. Again no expert but from what I'm hearing 22 is a rough year for ram. Hit or miss maybe consider a different brand? I considered a new ford I'm just not sure I would like to pull the trigger at over 80k. Good luck to you man hopefully no more problems for you and the problem is solved.

You should not have to do all of that

This is way they all have good gas motors. The big 3 see what is happening with the diesels, the mandates, technology is crazy witch defeats the whole reason of a diesel. Ford has that new gas motor, I know Chevy has a decent one. Most people that have a diesel don't actually need one. Maybe it's cool, maybe it was something one has always had, but times The changing, the cost, the emissions, the maintenance, and if something happens to it, well look what just happened. Gas motors now are simple, no emissions and they have more HP and damn near the same torque as diesel's 10-15 years ago. It really doesn't make sense. People saying well the gas mileage...... Ummm it's 10kplus for that diesel engine. Do you realize how much gas you would have to burn to equal that? Plus eventually you will either have to replace,or delete the system. It both costs money. Ok I'm done haha

The gas engine may have same torque, but look at the RPM required to get that torque.
