How HARD can we push JD Heavy Duty Snowblower on a 1025R?

- Testing the limits of the New 47in Heavy Duty Snowblower on a 2017 John Deere 1025R.
After a long day full of snow removal my neighbor stopped in to ask me to do his driveway. This was some wet heavy snow that set all day and froze to some nice hard pack. I was having a bit of fun trying to see how much snow the blower could handle, and how much the 1025R could.
The only two weak points i have found at this point are"
#1 - In deep hard pack snow you will break shear bolts
#2 - The spout could be built out of thicker steel (Video to come)

Cool. What RPM do you usually run that at? I typically just run my 1025R at wide open.
Snowblowing I run wide open, Mowing I will pull it back a bit, and loader work I run about 1/2

It was a workout all day, I have a 4 hour video of the full day before this but the camera fogged up. I may posted it speed up, will see. I'm OK, doing about the same.

Great Video! I've recorded video from an old GoPro and I would love to start posting videos of using my equipment doing different things! You said you used to have the yellow snowblower and you switched for this green one. What didn't you like about the previous? I have the yellow 52" on the front of my JD2320.

What is with the opaque dot in the middle of the screen? It really detracts from the video!
LOL, Its a water drop on the lens. Something you cant help when doing snow removal.
I was wondering do you have the 120R bucket for your 1025R. Do you have to remove the drive shaft to use the bucket?
yes, but i only need the front pto for the snowblower
Let it snow! When it bogged down doing the sidewalk. Did you have the rpm’s cranked? Or just overloaded the auger.
Its wide open. And it not the auger being overloaded it the impeller being overloaded. I'm pushing more snow in the it can throw out.
Is there a workaround for the loader? I find removing the driveshaft and the PTO guard a huge pain in the butt!!
letting the pto gard off may make it easier. haven't tried it. I only need the front pto for the snowblower
let it snow but make sure you have more shear bolts
LOL I keep a few in the tractor now plus the 4 on the snowblower
What are you blurring out?
I try using YT blur tool to blur out the customers face, but YT tool dose a bad job at it.
