What did you do with the hole for the bar that connects the OEM mounts? I don't want to leave a hole in the back of my bike. Oh actually it looks like you left the bar inside, didn't it fall out?? Any problems with exhaust heat and the plastic in the Evo X Mounting system?
The original bracket has also been completely removed and you can hardly see anything from the hole, I don't really mind. Regarding the heat development from the exhaust, I can only say that it is within limits. There is an insulating mat for the interior of the suitcases, but I didn't install that.
@@lostinjourney7952 I see, great to know! I am waiting for my order to arrive, not many KTM with these panniers. Thanks for making the video and sharing your experience!
@@awrebyawe You're welcome, the cases were only presented last year for the Ktm, the recess from the exhaust was important to me in order not to be too wide. Now it is only 4cm more than the original suitcase, with which I was not entirely happy with the processing and handling when unpacking and packing. With those from Touratech, the inner pockets can be pulled out nicely. Have fun with the suitcases when they come.
@@lostinjourney7952 Thank you for your answer. Indeed the original KTM suitcases are horrible and some are too deported by contribution to the left of the right. These correspond to my expectations cordially
Hi, I can only say that I am very satisfied with the aluminum cases, had the original ones before, were okay, but now it's better. Even if the bracket needs more space.

Hello,
Can you tell me if with the original exhaust the cases and supports are possible.
Thank you
Pardon for my English
Hi, these cases can also be used with the original exhaust. The Remus is almost identical in design, the KTM cases also fit on it.
