I have give the test 2 in the last 2 weeks and the result I keep getting is invalid,due to some applications in the background, but I made sure to keep all applications closed, what can I do how do I make sure all the applications are turned off on my laptop? Because the DET has given me one last chance to give an attempt for this test now

I am sorry to hear about Invalidation.
So, my first question will be, are you giving the DET test on website?
If yes, I would suggest you download their application and give test using the application as there are less chances of test getting interrupted in the middle and secondly, you are able to close all the apps in the background.

To make sure all applications are closed follow the below steps once you open the DET test application.
Firstly make sure that you close all the applications that are visible in your task bar.
Secondly, check the arrow button which is to the left of wifi/internet icon on the bottom right of the screen.
make sure that there are no applications running in that.

As per DET, you are required to be alone in the room for the test duration of 1 hour.
Continuous Movement in the background may lead to invalidation with this reason.

I am sorry to hear about your invalidation.
I can understand at times these strict guidelines can cause the test to be invalid.
I am not sure if there is anything other than your actual explanation that could write in appeal.
But one thing I will suggest you is that, in future, have yourself a room and be alone while appearing for test, There should not be any movement behind you on camera as they might suspect that someone as helped you.

Yes, you can use eternal speaker and mic. The only rule that DET has is that your eyes, mouth and ears should be clearly visible.
You cannot wear headphones as that will cover your ears.
can we look on keyboard while typing or not? because what i think maybe they donot allow this thing

Yes, you can look at the keyboard while typing and that is allowed by DET.
My suggestion to all the students is to keep switching your eyes in between keyboard and screen when you are typing so that your eyes are not off screen for extended time.

Brother my result was invalid because they suspected that I didn't complete the written section independently. I appealed and they consumed my full credit.I have to purchase the test again to take another test. But I'm nervous will they do the same activity and consume my credit.

I am sorry to hear about the invalidation.
I know the test can be complicated mainly because of their strict rules.
I would suggest you few things for the next time you take test.
Your eyes should stay only on screen and no where else for all the sections of test.
For writing section, you can look at the keyboard to type but make sure that constantly keep on checking the screen as well to see what you typed. This way your eyes will stay on screen most of the time.
Another thing is give test through their app rather than browser, as this will help you close all the background app before beginning the test.
To make sure that there are no background apps running, there are 2 steps that you need to follow :
Firstly make sure that you close all the applications that are visible in your task bar.
Secondly, check the arrow button which is to the left of Wi-Fi/internet icon on the bottom right of the screen.

Finally, I would also recommend reaching out to them via the HELP button on the DET website. Just ask them what extra measure should I take to make sure that I don't get Invalidated with the reason like "I didn't complete the written section independently".
I am pretty sure they will also suggest you to do few things to avoid that from happening.

So DET scores are based on two parts the Overall score and the score in 4 modules that you mentioned above.
So, taking marks of just 4 modules doesn't give you the correct estimate of the actual score.
But just to give you an estimate, I guess the actual score should be around 130 to 135 from the above sub scores.

I would recommend you reaching out to their support team by clicking help button on homepage of DET.
Thier chat support is pretty good and I think they'll be able to unblock your account.

If yes, then I believe there might have been some issue with purchasing the test.

I was doing the test in Study Makers which is my Duolingo test but in the middle of speaking my headteacher came into my room because she didn't know about my test (that I was doing). It is really hard to convince DET that the interruption was legit and there was no wrong intention about it.
DET is completely online exam and hence they follow such strict guideline to make sure that everything is transparent.
I am guessing that you are already in conversation with them about this. So, do keep us updated about what the final decision was.
During exam sir i can read a question lodudly? Bcz everyone have a different way to understand someone is just read and give answer but some are read the questions and speak can i speak amd read the question?

No, it is not recommended to speak in sections other than speaking section.
I understand that speaking and answering works for you, however, they have mentioned in their rules that you are only supposed to speak when you are instructed to do so.
You can confirm this information with them as well just in case if you need a confirmation.

@@Aman-qe9sz Keep it simple. You can look at the keyboard while typing.
But how do you just look at the keyboard and type right?
You'll have to see at the screen to see what you typed to make sure if there are any errors and stuff.
So just keep doing that and you should be good.

I think it depends on weather you perform same in actual test as you do consistently in practice test. If yes, then you should be comfortable getting near around your low score range.
In my opinion, score can increase if you use complex grammar statements, Linking words, vocabulary etc.

You can appeal the decision that they made and try to justify the reason they have you.
For the certified test, You need to make sure that you are alone in the room and there are no movements from other behind you.

So as per their comment, you did not look at the screen while giving answers.
Remember you are always supposed to look at the screen for every section of the test.
If you peek outside of the screen for more times, then they suspect that there is someone that's helping you with the answers.

if yes, then you'll probably have to purchase the exam again in order to give another attempt.
If not, then you should reach out to them to understand how can you retake exam with the same purchase.

So as per DET's comment, they feel like you were reading the response during your speaking section. They require the response to be on the spot and not memorized.
This can happen because of the speed of your speech.
You need to speak in a way which feels like you are having a conversation. Speak slowly and not with fast pace as speaking fast creates a misassumption that you are reading from some where.
Practice speaking slowly as that will help you get your test certified.

Yes, the venue of the test can be decided by you. My recommendation will be to sit in a separate room if you can. If not make sure that there are no movements happening behind you and also make sure that the lights are good.

There are few things that you need to remember before beginning the test.
I usually recommend using their official app to give an exam rather than browser. The main benefit to it is that you can make sure that nothing that running in the background and secondly there is no way that cursor goes out of the screen.
While speaking, make sure that you have a very natural tone and speed. Take pauses while speaking to make it more natural. don't look anywhere outside of screen while you speak (MOST IMPORTANT) as looking outside of screen makes the DET proctors feel that someone's helping you.

No, It's not necessary to have a laptop. All you need is a working computer with a good webcam and speaker in case of desktop. And you should be good.
