I want to know, is Duolingo a scam?
I took the Duolingo test two weeks ago, but they blocked me and did not declare my result. They also said that I am not permitted to appear for Duolingo again in the future.
They gave the reason that I used more than one keyboard and mouse, but that's wrong. I don't use more than one keyboard and mouse. I have attached an external keyboard and mouse to my laptop because some buttons on my keyboard are not functional, and I operate using that only . I have never cheated in an exam.
I appealed, but they denied my appeal, saying that I used more than one keyboard and mouse. I don't know when or how this happened.
I don't know what to do. Could you please help me?

Sir when we purchase a real test and at the time of test we have to open our gmail in laptop or not ? Actually i have borrow a laptop from my friend for 10 days so his gmail account is open in this laptop. I want to confirm whether i should also need to add my gmail account or not ?

I don't think you'll need to open Gmail in your browser while appearing for certified test.
You just have to make sure that you use your credentials to log in to the Duolingo English Test website and begin your test.
You can also do the same using thier application.

I purchase Duolingo English test on 3 July but my university give me voucher to give exam. So can I get refund of my test fee which I pay? Or any other person give test from my account?

Yes, You will get refund for the fees you paid. But to know the exact procedure, you will have to check with the college.
No no one else can give the test on your behalf as that is not legal.

Mainly students face issues with achieving good production score. In that case, make sure you understand the writing and speaking question. Secondly, make sure that you answer what is being asked. For example, if there are 3 sub question in a question, make sure that you are answering them specifically at first.
Learn few synonyms, so that you can add variety of words in your answer to show off vocabulary.
Try to learn some linking words as they would make your sentences complex. try forming your answer in the Intro+Main idea +conclusion for both speaking and writing answer. Basically, check out how I form the writing answer in my current and other practice test videos.

They didn't certify the exam because I couldn't prove that I did the writing part independently, any advice?

Sorry to hear that.
Mainly in such cases, you need to make sure that your eyes are on screen most of the time. Many a time students type the writing response completely by looking at the keyboard.
Make sure that there are no camera movements behind you on screen. You should be alone in a room while appearing for test.
Avoid looking anywhere other than than screen.

No, you won't be able to cheat in the Duolingo English Test. If you caught doing so, your ID can be blocked from giving the test again.
The DET test can be difficult at times but with practice you can achieve the score you're looking for.
