Love it. Wish I could have similar hobbies. Much love for popeye! Born 1982 here. Lots of love for this arcade. Thanks for the tour. Only wish I had the same lifestyle.
I loved the old skate or die? The one with the joystick tat was tilted and only rotated on a 360 plane. Very difficult. Remember putting in a quarter and lasted about 45 seconds. My most fav is the star wars games. The endore game and also the fully seated/enclosed deathstar game I have played them in non seated versions too. I bet those are the holy grail. Star wars plus old arcade. Wow. I love your tron. One of the all time must plays.
@AtariAndre42 Everything I have read stated that he worked on the development team on Radarscope. "Radar Scope was also known as the first game Shigeru Miyamoto helped develop." that quote is from Strategy Wiki. I have added a note to the video regarding this debatable fact. Thanks for pointing that out!
John your arcade is the definition of cool. Magical watching ... makes me into a kid in a sweetshop. I was lucky enough to play Popeye in the arcades ... I love it as well. I would dearly love to own a pinball machine someday!!! Sadly I didn't play those so much in their day. Thing about those - You canne emulate them to any great authenticity. I'd love a Medieval Madness!!! LOL One of my happiest ever days was discovering Mame!!!!
awesome vid. Seeing your Punch-out and DK3 makes me wish I never got rid of mine :(. ..and I am with you man, I really liked some DK3 action. sure its different from the other DK games, but I think on its own it is a very solid game.
Since you seem to like Robotron, I'm surprised you're not more interested in Sheriff. It's a precursor to that twin-stick style of games, you know. It apparently has an 8-way dial instead of a second stick, but the core game mechanics are essentially the same. Of course, I'm just trying to talk you into buying a Sheriff so I can watch you do a video on it. :)
@blkdog7 thats sucks.I also noticed that you are from MA. nice. I was looking at your bbq pics on johnsarcade and noticed someone that worked on a pac man machine my family owns. it is a small world!

The Arcade reminds me of Silver Spoons
awesome arcade! Just curious, do you like Rygar or plan on getting that to add to your collection?
interesting to see what games have left the basement
@gadgetman007 Good idea

Cliff hanger is the best stern game IMO
Excellent tour, and amazing collection. That custom sign you have when you walk down is a nice touch too.
in punch out arcade the green hair is little mac
Personally, I liked Jungle Hunt better than Jungle King. I loved the look of delight on the old hunter's face when the jungle princess kissed him.
Hey. Pinball is the SHIT!
@freesoulvw Your thinking of 720 by Atari and your right it's hard
@blkdog7 thats sucks.I also noticed that you are from MA. nice. I was looking at your bbq pics on johnsarcade and noticed someone that worked on a pac man machine my family owns. it is a small world!
@ blkdog7 Isn't Domino Man really rare?
Did you get rid of mushroom world pinball?
How much money should one spend on an old arcade game that is in good shape? If you've already answered this question...I apologize.
I have 6 arcade machines and not one Nintendo cabinet :( Only because I don't have much space for these arcades......and a little pricey hehe
@blkdog7 whyy that thing was cool
I've got to ask, what kind of camera did you use to record this?
wats your energy bill for all the games and does this collection get on your significant others nerve
If your arcade is "always open", why do you have power switches? ;)
I'm glad I got MAME working. But it's nothing compared to the real thing. >:
@nick12882 Sadly, I did. :(
Is it really open? If so, i will run into your house, into the arcade, and waste 20 pocketfulls of quarters.
Do you own all these arcades?
Can I live in your basement?
Loud talk
