Watching Liv is more doable in terms of time. I cannot justify portioning 8 hours a day on the weekend to watching golf, especially Korn Ferry Golf. The PGA is now just the Korn Ferry Tour, let’s be honest. And that’s ok, just not for 8 hours with advertisements coming from every direction.
For me, to watch a complete days worth of golf in 2-3 hours, with nonstop action, is doable.
Liv Golf has actually been more thoughtful in terms of what works for patrons visiting the tournament and for those investing time watching it on TV or the app.
I went to the Liv tournament in Vegas. My gf and I were amazed that it was over in a reasonable timeframe and we weren’t exhausted from all the standing.
Then we realized why the shotgun start to a so good.
That’s what I was saying from the get go. Makes watching the game soooo much better. Just like what cricket did. Having to be at a golf event for 10+ hours is insane. Done that so many times. Won’t ever again. Can’t wait for the Houston LIV event
Yeah, much rather be playing than watching
….and to even be able to watch a pga event start to finish, if they even televise the start, you have to jump around to 2-3 channels. No network wants to broadcast all of that.
Part of me wonders that it's NOT LIV that the PGA Tour needs to worry about, but CZcams golf instead I've watched the PGA tour all my life, now in my mid 40s, but I actually find CZcams golf to be more engaging for various reasons (e.g. you get to hear people conversing, thinking through their shots, get to even know them a little as people, with relatively more relatable golf skills). The contents are also much more easily accessible. Nowadays, I rarely watch the professionals unless it's the majors or if Scottie is about to win.
Have to agree.
I agree. CZcams golf is so much more relatable to the casual golfer. I still enjoy watching professional golf but it's more as a fan of certain players. What's nice to see is that more LIV players are making appearances on CZcams golf channels. PGA players as well but they seem to appear more on sponsor channels which don't quite have the CZcams thing figured out.
@@chebo73
CZcams golf(ers) are great as they are always releasing new content, Liv tournaments are few in comparison. Wesley Bryan is the only one I have seen being able to compete at the professional level. I do think he works very hard at it. Luke Kwon is a professional but he definitely makes way more income with his YT channel. You are right, high level pro golfers having their own YT channels are very entertaining as well. Least favorites would be Micah, Finch, Horvat, and DOD. Take care and all the best!
Now THAT is a very interesting thought. I watch a lot of CZcams golf myself.
LIV Adelaide was the best golf event I’ve ever been. An amazing 3 days.
MY ARSE.
I went to the Adelaide LIV event this past weekend and it was amazing! So well run and organised. All the players loved the fans and the energy that was around the course. For Someone like me who used to be a member at Grange it's amazing to see how the pros play the holes I have played 100 times before.
I went to two of the women's Australian opens when they were held in Adelaide and they were great but nothing like LIV can bring. Even the men's Australian open doesn't compare to what LIV brought.
LIV have also just signed a youth program with the golf Australia to help grow the game in kids.
MICKEY MOUSE GOLF IN SHORTS, MIGHT BE ENTERTAINING BUT ITS HORSESHITE!
Professional golf is not in trouble, it is simply in a state of change. For the first time in as long as I can remember there is something different for everyine out there to choose to enjoy. All will sort itself out in time.
There has always been other tours with competing events...the difference now is that LIV is so strong
@@pauljcross2289
Agree 100% with both of you. The PGA has always come with some sort of arrogance and "stiffness" for lack of a better word. Never more brought to light by LIV and Greg Norman, hate him or love him, he is a genius. He does have the best players and they have proven it. Watching the PGA where I now still recognize very few players anymore, so, quit watching them a while back. Rory gives me zero spark but if he joined LIV, we would see a different guy...................maybe. Have a great week!
While soccer is not as visible as the other major leagues in the U.S., but for the rest of the world, it is the most popular sport. The PGA is purely domestic market, while LIV is after the international market. If there’s any proof that they have a good business model to go after new audiences/fans, just look what transpired in Australia. It was like a Ryder Cup event with all countries participating.
This is where the PGA isn't trying to grow the game globally and LIV is. They want to keep all control of the market and sponsors. Like they say. "If you aren't changing then you're dying."
@@tomhill5848 looking back at PGA’s opportunity to have LIV as their developmental league, which they refused, was the beginning of the turmoil. It was the brain child of veteran players to help struggling new talent to financially survive as a tour player in their first few seasons. The old guards were not having it and saw it as an impertinent move. Fast forward 3 years and the PGAT went on offensive and banned players, sent out 9/11 analogies, poisoned the waters that money involved is not green but blood red, labeled the players joining as washed out and can’t hold their own in the tour. Fast forward another 3 years, and the PGAT is trying to catch up with new ideas that are already in place with LIV hoping to keep their aging audience and attract younger generation to be interested in their version of professional golf. They did not just shoot themselves in the foot, they blew out the entire limb.
The LIV Adelaide Aussie fans are fanatical. They love their golf. The team playoff was a nail biter and the Rippers earned every dime. My hat is off to South Africa for a great show. The PGA has no comparison; it is like watching molasses gel. I watched LIV on their website with no commercials... most enjoyable. Thanks Mr. Short Game for being even handed.
Old school golf attitudes and snobbery needs a shake up and LIV is rattling the cage and opening doors to the world of golf for everyone. It might not be the final answer but it's a good start for discussion.
Bingo
I beg to differ, Happy Gilmore accomplished that feat no more then an hour ago.
The PGA tour needs to realize that USA is not the only place that plays golf its a big world out there.
Maybe PGA will just stick to America where the best will get selected to play on the World Tour
A lot of young kids will start playing through high school in college to try to get to liv instead of the PGA
I think your right
Oh, so now we gotta wait for high schoolers to grow up and prop up LIV? Haha.
No they will not liv is garbage and you know it
@@sportsjunkie2900 doesn't matter...liv doesn't need anything to survive
@@sportsjunkie2900lmao it’s garbage? Is that why the last 3 college top ranked guys chose LIV over the pga tour? Y’all are clowns
LIV Adelaide was LIT! The team play off was awesome and Bryson lost his socks.
I love PGA and LIV. The thing I think LIV has going for it is if I go to a LIV event in the morning at 10am on Saturday or Sunday I don’t have to wait around for another 4-5hrs to see my favorite players. I know they’ll be there all at once with the same tee time. By the 4th hour I’m ready to go. I feel LIV is bringing golf to more fans in other countries with top players they want to see.
The reason the Liv Adelaide is so amazing is Major Event management group . They have produced world winning events for years
The LIV events are exciting to watch and doesn't take a whole day. Adelaide was off the charts. Watching the players' interaction with the fans was amazing. There is no stuff shirt stuff there. The team playoff was iceing on the cake.
It was terrible and was just an exhibition
@@sportsjunkie2900
That's your opinion and entitled to it. I never try to change the mind of a fool.
LIV is awesome! PGA snobs need to chill. LIV will be the #1 tour soon!
AWESOME? NO CUT ROUNDS IN SHORTS IS MICKEY MOUSE, HOW MANY LIV GUYS MADE THE CUT AT THE MASTERS? BYE.
LIV is growing golf, PGA is just hating that it is working. You are 100% on point when you say the PGA hated on team golf to the extreme UNTIL the PGA had a team event; then it was all how amazing it was to have this format and how fresh it was for the fans.
You really think people get excited when pat Perez shoots 77 77 78 and gets a share of the team prize ? How is sustainable?
@@mitchy7051 you act like everyone does that all the time. We just got every shot from Tiger..... remind me what he shot again? The crowd at the LIV event was electric, you would know that had you watched it.
Yea LIV is doing great…rowdy crowds obviously not golf crowds, and when I watched it, wait I couldn’t since it’s not televised. LIV would be great events between PGA seasons just so we have something to watch.
PGAT are epic hypocrites
@@Sluggo717 it's watchable on PC and phone with the free app. And the crowd was way more respectful than the WM drunks.
LIV Golf is just great to watch. Well presented, fun, organised, updating scores, the apps, etc. It's a far superior product & myself & friends love the format. Is it a one off....I dont think so. LIV Spain & UK had great crowds last year but in time you'll find that these venues & others will raise up in "craziness" like Adelaide. For Adelaide to go from 77,000 last year to 94,000 people this year is insane. As Australia has 1/15th the population of the US, this event in Adelaide is bigger than the Waste Management. Also 40% of the attendees came from interstate. So the call for great golfers to play in such an event is widely needed in Australia. So a few more of this size event around the world you will find that LIV Golf will start to consume the global narrative in golf outside of the Majors. Just on that, why are 3 out of the 4 Majors in the US. One should be played in Australia for sure.
People came in from 33 countries LIV is growing worldwide. My wife and I were up to 3am three nights in a row. What fun 😉⛳️😇😊
Not only does Australia not get too many international top ranked players to their Open or PGA Championship....they don't even get too many of their own top ranked players returning home.
The PGA of America make it so hard to come home because of the requirements to play certain tournaments etc.
To have this quality field AND 4 of the top Aussies at a tournament is unheard-of since the 70's when the Oz Open was virtually the 5th major.
THANK YOU Greg Norman!!
The PGA designed it so no players could leave and had to stay in the US, it was in their interest for TV ad revenue.
I walked and scored for Cam, Dean and Mito on Sunday. We landed in Singapore yesterday. I'd be happy to talk to you about all things LIV anytime. For the record, not many of the players flew private on this leg. We were all on the same flight Monday morning to Singapore. Thanks for talking about LIV. We're definitely seeing more people embrace this style of play. The Adelaide crowd was incredible. We're looking forward to Thursdays Pro-Am and getting the tournament started on Friday. It's incredibly hot here in Sentosa. The players will definitely have to contend with the heat this week.
One thing I can say is that golf is absolutely booming in Canada, or at least where I live in Ontario. Courses and driving ranges are packed at all times from April through October and the indoor simulators are popping up all over and are fully booked November through March. At some that will trickle to the professional game.
Ontario here. I agree. Go liv!
yup its super unfortunate #shrinkthegame
Well didn't watch PGA , but watched alot of LIV GOLF , , is fun to watch , play off was great and fun to watch , crowd was little excited to see THE BIRD MAN win ,, I do see what your saying , if they can do that we can do it bigger , and better , Thanks
I did not know most of the people on the pgat leaderboard this weekend. I can see why no one is watching the pgat. I watched Liv. And there was no comparison. Liv was so much better
Nobody watches liv it’s a terrible product
@@sportsjunkie2900lmao yeah how many more times you’re gonna say no one watched LIV. I mean I guess if you tell that to yourself none stop then you believe your own lie..
But clearly all the comments on here and all the fans that went to the even PROVE that we love LIV. Go cry yourself to sleep. Take your tampon out while you’re at It.
@@sportsjunkie2900literally saying that to someone who said they were watching Liv 😂
FINALLY...a team playoff. This really showed what Liv's true potential is...imagine in an American event with 2 American teams...watching Phil hitting a flop shot over a bunker and holeing it for his team to win
Watched all of LIV this past weekend. Amazing. Bought tickets to the UK event straight after.
Didn't even notice a PGA event was on...
The powers at Golf Channel also hate the scramble format that LIV uses, but in the PGA Tour event, the other team in the playoff was done when the 3 PM CBS telecast came on the air. The last hour of the team portion of the LIV event was exciting because all of the teams in the running were playing at the same time. In the last 1/2 hour, Stinger came from nowhere to tie Ripper GC and force the playoff.
Exactly. This is what idiots that hate the shot gun start don’t understand
Liv doesn't play a scramble format. Just sayin
That was the most exciting golf I’ve seen in a long time watching Ripper win in front of a home crowd! Man it was good!
It was amazing to watch. The Aussies were giving the Stinger boys some s*it on those final shots. 😂
I think Liv is getting many things right. Aussie event was huge success and very very entertaining to watch. Shotgun start, team competition, great atmosphere free & commercial free steaming and quality golf. Very enjoyable. Unfortunately, not all events get crowds like AUS, but I believe it will grow in other events (despite MEX and KSA).
I'm glad you all like golf and you like the party tour (LIV). I love that golf can be quiet and a nice walk enjoying the outside. So, LIV tour is not my thing. We need to attack young people to the game so we have courses we can all play.
Wow. I attended LIV Adelaide and it was truly awesome. Way better than the President's Cup and a DP World event I attended in Japan.
You seem to be the only mainstream SM voice that gets this. Kudos.
I watched the final live and although I was tired I managed to stay awake because it was a very interesting finish. Usually I'll just watch the replay the next day whenever they play in Asia so that I can watch it while I'm fresh.
I was hoping you'd cover this, I was watching live and it was an incredible viewing experience!! Also AK played well the first 2 days!
Rewarding the past may seem like a nice gesture but the PGA needs to be be investing in the future. Also, if they want to give Tiger a boat load of money at least make him sit in the booth 8 or 10 hours per day and do commentary if he isn't playing.
The liv golf videos are exciting to watch! I am enjoying the content and everyone is good in the tournament!
LIV needs to capitalize on CZcams Golf's big momentum by letting a team of CZcams golfers play in one of their tournaments... PGA kind of got there first with the Myrtle Beach Qualifier but that wasn't PGAs idea.. so LIV still has a chance to tap into the CZcams golf viewership.
Super smart of the Myrtle beach qualifier. Only reason I’ll be watching the pga tour event. Otherwise idc. I rather watch LIV. Wayyyyyy more entertaining
CZcams golf is the majority of golf I watch now, I’m 56, will watch the majors and any tournament the Bryan Brothers or Ashkay B is in
What is CZcams golf?
GOD HEPL YOU.

Love your new none biased videos. Im a huge fan. Keep it up!
Being at LIV Adelaide on the 18th was electric on the final day. I was there with 8 holes to be played and everyone was glued to the big screen at the green. Fans cheering on their favourite player or team. But also cheering was the players. Every player that played the 18th stopped to watch the big screen while reading the green. To cheer on their team mates who were in contention to win the individual prize or to cheer on their team if they were the top 5 contenders. Remember watching Niemann do a fist pump as Carlos Ortiz sunk a birdie and likewise Carlos Ortiz did the same when Niemann sunk his putt. Anyone who assumes theirs no competitiveness hasn’t been to a LIV event. Even Jon Rahm’s expression on his last 2 holes said it all after he went off on the first 16 like a man on a mission, he look so deflated even after when he was on the 18th watching the playoff.
ON A MISSION TO WIN A MEANINGLESS EVENT? ITS FOR CLOWNS.
They should have one in Canada, Royal Montreal would be a great venue because Quebec dosent mind the political issues
Professional golf is not in trouble, The scared little failed monopoly called the pga tour is in trouble. If I was a kid growing up with enough talent to go pro, I wouldn’t even consider the pga tour. One is growing, the other is dying. LIV will outlive the pga bore 😉
I like the time spent watching Liv, it's a shorter timeframe, shot gun start, all players get the same weather conditions. You can argue 54 holes or 72 or whatever you like, but I never watch every hole every day of any golf tournament. Liv is definitely geared towards a new younger audience and that's fine. In Australia we always support big events, always big crowds at our Australian Open, Australian PGA and we did back in the 1980's attract the Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player etc. Foot note to some, Greg Norman won his first professional golf tournament in Adelaide so it's no surprise we have a Liv event in Adelaide. Don't hate the Liv people, enjoy a new format for golf, watch what you like, it's freedom of choice.
Can’t wait for the Houston event!
That liv event was amazing. Lov liv and their product. PGA is same boring. USA only golf
I specifically made time to watch some LIV golf. Watched Timberwolves / Suns, then tuned into LIV. Late night, but worth it. I even went to bed and had LIV on my headphones while I slept. Then watched highlights Sunday afternoon. Didn't even know what PGA had going on.
My comment would be that while LIV had a great Adelaide event, and good for them. They also have had 5 previous events this year and not a whisper about any of them. Zero crazy crowds. Zero viewership. Zero media hype. Nothing. They were in Vegas the same weekend as the super bowl and nobody cared. Anyone who says they are "growing the game", they haven't actually changed anything other than venue location. If that's the hill LIV fans are going with as the bar for "changing the game", then that's about the only thing that's different as it is golf at the end of the day.
I thought the Adelaide LIV tournament had some issues, the crowd was too much, with Idiots deliberately yelling in the South Africans backswing FFS.
I am not against having a Phoenix Open type party hole, but it's a very fine balance between people having a good time and drunken Idiots going overboard.
The way LIV is going the whole tournament is in danger of becoming one big 'Party Hole'.
I was there in Adelaide, amazing atmosphere and well run event
Hey great content. I went to live golf last year at the watering hole Sunday. Witnessed the hole on one. Never forget it as I have in on video... Seriously if you want to go the the best golf/entertainment event in the world plan now for next year..... Great city, wine, arts beer etc...
Australia has been badly neglected by professional Golf World Management and LIV GOLF knew this and stepped up to fill the void.
I really wanted to be there but I couldn't so I watched the whole event and it was awesome.
The standard of golf goes up because of the Team component and could not have been scripted any better than having what was essentially Australia v South Africa fighting it out at the end. On a country v country level it's the same in cricket and rugby, and now golf. The only thing I will say was the overall win by Brendan Steele was somewhat overshadowed by the team win by Ripper GC, but that's probably understandable given the circumstances.
Having watched the whole broadcast what I will say was the LIV Broadcast was exciting unlike the PGA and recent MASTERS broadcast which was dull and boring. My opinion.
Well done LIV awesome result.
2 person teams are way better and personal that 5 player teams, AND they’re playing together at the same time, that also makes it better.
Agreed, I find the LIV team system totally boring, if it wasn't for the Commentators giving regular updates, you wouldn't know, or care about it at most LIV events.
They just lucked out at Adelaide with the (home) Aussie team playing off against the Sth Africans, who have an 80+ year sporting rivalry against each other through Cricket and Rugby.
If it was two other teams with no local connection, there would have been crickets. lol.
PGA might get boring with Scheffler winning all the time… no Rahm, ect, to compete against.
No disrespect to Scottie, but he's about the worst No. 1 that a Golf Tour could hope for, as a Golfer A+, as a personality to get the Fans excited, not so much.
I've seen some reports that LIV is coming back to the Chicago land area for the individual championship this fall!! Chicago also gets the shaft from the pga and we miss golf a lot.
Love that bring all the info! I personally think the Australia event is a one-off but hope it isn't.
Really enjoyed Sunday LIV...the team competition was fun to watch. For me, it was the funnest round of golf I have watched this year. Tired to watch the PGA, but BORING!
Simply, yes
We drove 18 hours to get to the golf. Worth every second.
It's a chance for the rest of the world to walk beside and watch legends of the game like Phil and Bubba, also to see Bryson smoke a drive.
A shame they didn't get John Daly on board, he's the kind of larrikin Aussies love.
Every state in Australia now wants a Liv event.
I was surprised when I saw the crowds at LIV Adelaide. Great to see. Not sure if it's a sign of LIV growing in popularity but more of a unique opportunity for Aussies to watch pro golf in person. Either way, I hope to see pro golf continue to grow/expand, regardless of tour, and to include more CZcams golf personalities.
South Africa next
Also what Americans probably don't know is that Australia and South Africa have a rivalry in Cricket and Rugby.....so there is that aspect as well. It would be good to have a LIV event in South Africa.
We aussies will turn up to any professional sport events that are played Down Under. Over the years gone past well known English soccer teams played with close to 100,000 fans at the MCG. American baseball teams, rugby teams heck even just recently Scottie Pippen was here for basketball promo and a normally small fan based team games were sold out. Aussies love their sports and will show up. Please Matt when talking crowd numbers make it known that almost 100,000 was over only 3 days. Love the channel🇦🇺🦘🪃🇦🇺🦘🪃
I watch the Bryan Bros way more than pro golf. Comparing the once a year Zurich to the entire LIV existence of Rangegoats and Smash isn’t fair.
I was just disappointed with the way the fans interacted with the playoff...i know home field advantage and all that....just a little class goes along way. Other then that..i reallly dont keep up with the pga anymore..
That’s where LIV is different and that’s why we love It. It’s like other sports now. Just because you are cheering for your home team and making It tougher for the South Africans doesn’t mean you don’t have class… this is a true sport now. Not just being quiet like “traditionalist” want to keep It.
Part of the Aussie character is good-natured heckling. I know there is a fine line but LIV is promoting "Golf But Louder" and all hell always breaks loose on the 12th (the Watering Hole) and no doubt those who were charging there all day "spilled over" to the playoff and spoilt it for others. Not sure how we can solve this - I'll leave that to Greg Norman. I live in Adelaide and you have to be here to experience the incredible atmosphere.
@@Paul-lx2pc I want more heckling and home field advantage in golf. More noise. This traditional soft ass you have to be quiet is stupid. It stems from the game being brought up by elitist.
Agreed, as an Australian it was embarrassing hearing people deliberately yelling on the Sth Africans backswing.
Too many Yobbos* and Bogans*, *(Australian for Rednecks and Trailer trash).
I would 10x rather travel to Australia to see LIV vs. Louisiana.
Book a ticket. You won't regret it, I flew from otherside of Australia to watch it. Annual event for me.
We invite you to come over to Australia, mate.😊
Wait I’m confused.. a random guy on Facebook told me that nobody went to live events. I see a lot of people there. Hmmmmm.
WELL DONE Adelaide and LIV best sporting event in world. Great course create great golf. AUST Open has to have LIV and PGA players.
Bringing golf to the WORLD.... LIV is great....
Speaking from Australia, we long for world class golf down here. I understand the money is in USA but players keeps saying they want to expand the game. This is what LIV is doing - they're taking it around the world. The PGA has ruined golf tournaments in the southern hemisphere as players don't want to travel and I understand we're a long way away and the money isn't that great but if we get more players coming here, it will attract more sponsors = more prize money. Some players play in some DP World Tour events but really only travel to the UK when The Open is on. Go LIV - 94k in Adelaide this week
Great event from LIV this past weekend. I honestly think if LIV went to potentially India that might break record's. That country is owed or due an event.
always fair comments about golf overall. The only point I would say is when you brought up the money the lower placed golfers receive, and relegation. Now Mr Short game, I believe the last place golfer in each LIV event receives a guaranteed $130,000 plus? Times this by the number of events each season gives these players over $1 million dollars. When comparing to the PGA, there is no comparison. I bet there isn't any LIV player living in the back of his car. Keep up the great work and really enjoy your channel!!
If I was an upcoming high ranked college player, first choice would be to go to LIV.
It was exciting , good golf, and I believe it's also to have one of Liv's biggest draws on the same week. The p.g.a lays a dud pretty smart marketing imo
Australia has always produced great golfers, however the PGA has never really focused in on Australia they always thought we are a back water. It just shows the world we love our golf we back our players and we have brilliant golf clubs, so the word on the street is stuff the PGA they need to step up and now all we need is more tournaments down under and the involvement of the women’s golf as well.
PGA is becoming the feeder tour to get that big LIV payday.
difficult to compare teams in LIV and PGA : on PGA they play together (foursome, 4 balls) and on LIV they play in strokeplay far from eachother ... the team score just appears at the end ... But it is not to say that LIV is evil ... they can live together
I've tried watching LIV on multiple occassions, and I just can't get into it whatsoever. Not sure why
LIV Golf is Quick -Paced, FUN , I smiled, Loved !the Adelaide LIV Golf on TV !
No worries for PGA….the team event is different from LIV….only in Adelaide or in Oz you will get the crowds….Aussies are diehard sports enthusiasts.
The World Ranking System is a big joke
The PGA is trying this with the Zurich Classic......
If PGA guys were being honest, I'd say 90% are pissed that Eldrick got $100 million bucks. He's played 1.5 events this year and not much more last year. Moronhan should've been fired 2 years ago.
Aussies would love to see LIV play a game in each State 🙏🇦🇺🏌️♂️
I love waking up at 3am and finding chan 674 to watch the Dubai Golftrotters
Yes, Australia has been starved for top quality golf for so long. The talent of LIV golfers in this event is on par or better than a Presidents Cup but has the marketing & tournament style that embraces the AUSSIE lifestyle. So many of the players commented on the cheering they got from fans, the stretch of ages in the crowd & the funny comments that they heard. Australians love their sport & will turn up in droves if it is something they like.
What we can learn from LIV is that Golf isn’t a sport run by old miserable people.
* cam smith if in individual title must be in that playoff .
* which is a good thing bc u can't ask cam (or anyone) to make a choice to not wanna play for another 2 million which is diff between first and second (team title is 750 k at most per person ) .
PGA no longer #1 and its totally ok.
The hate will die down eventually. LIV is too much fun to ignore forever.
There’s nothing in Adelaide there for anything coming there people are going to show up.
adelaide is liv golf we are the super bowl of liv golf events every liv golfer want to apart it and they can loosen up and be themselves
I watched golf on Sunday, and flipped back and forth between LIV and the PGA Tour event, and it's glaringly clear, the PGA Tour is boring!
LIV gives me constant golf shots on the TV. It is not a finished product yet. The PGA gives you commercials, vain commentators and 7 hr watch time durations. I will take just watching golf any day!
There.. shared with me and my wife. You’re welcome.
Of course the PGA tour is in trouble. Losing fans, losing sponsors, losing rating, losing players, losing caddies, losing announcers etc
Only issue with PGA is when they switch networks throughout the tournament. Should be just one network (I.e., Hulu, Peacock, or NBC). It should never go to Golf Channel since most people do not have it. Also, yea great LIV tournament especially when the crowd started throwing things at the players and caddies.
Outside of the tournament taking 10+ hours to watch just one day. Stupid
I don’t think the Golf Channel or any golf talking head person hates team golf, they love the Ryder Cup etc. They dislike the idea of the of team golf as a tour for World Ranking points.
No, they hate any other tour that has the chance to be bigger than the pga tour they partner with. Because LIV is also individual play…. And world ranking points was just awarded to another 54 hole tour…..
It’s just biased against LIV. Who has the capital to take over golf.
@@SwayPromoWhen are people like you going to stop making up the facts to suit your own narrative. Your lack of understanding of the real facts is mind boggling. You have in your own words stated what is one of the main points about OWGR points for any tournament, not just LIV, any tournament, any tour, it is not 54 holes, it is not team events, it is not the cut by itself, it is that the participants in an individual event also participate in a team event at the same. If you listen to the middle section of this video where it discusses what would happen if in the event of a play off for the individual event and a playoff for the team event involving the same individuals it clearly identifies the problem. If you cannot see that this situation compromises the way ranking points are allocated you really have no knowledge of the whole situation. They are also playing stroke play which is the only part of the event they are requesting points for…
@@8snowman88 and LIV doesn’t lack interest. It’s simply Americans that think everything is about them. And all the slandering the golf channel did worked. But around the world LIV has a ton of interested and gaining support shown by sponsors now actually backing LIV: and organizations teaming up with LIV now… those are facts. Not the bullshit the American public tries to say
Money has changed everything in sports weather it is college, professional even the Olympics. It is just getting to golf.
Professional golf has never been stronger imo. The pga tour isnt stronger though which is a good thing. The growth is outside the US. I went to LIV and loved it. LIV has some of the worlds best players so why wouldn't people turn up. Thankyou Norman for breaking up the pga monopoly. The players owe greg a lot of gratitude on both tours. I wouldn't be surprised if Sheffler moves as it doesn't sound like he got a huge payout.
...why is one of the 4 majors not in Australia?
The LIV team got CURBSTOMPED at Augusta by Zach, Freddy, Jose Maria and Weir. It is weeeeeeaaaaaak
5 of the US Ryder cup team missed the cut at a total of +28...ya clown.
