  • This week on Everything You Need To Know we are showing you the inside story of how Jurgen Klopp has transformed Liverpool. When he took over the club they had forgotten how to win under Brendan Rodgers, but now are one of the best teams in world football. We look at his tactical revolution, how he has evolved from his days at Borussia Dortmund and how he has been so successful in the transfer market.
    We also explore how he has reconnected his team with Anfield, which has become one of the hardest stadiums to visit in Europe. Klopp is a manager who knows how to win, and we show you how he has imparted that knowledge onto his team.

      The only thing I’d say is he blames stupid things for losing and if he loses he is pretty petty about it. Other people might see it as a bad thing but I see it as a winners mentality. Even if he loses he is still not accepting defeat. He has made it so him and his team never get used to losing, so when it comes they don’t accept defeat and always want to fight back

    What really burried Rodgers was Sturridge body failing .

    • @PissG
      @PissG Před 3 lety +6

      What buried Rodgers was his lack of understanding and experience about European football. Having 1 win, 2 draws and 3 defeats in UCL group stage is the sign of a shitty team. In UEL, Liverpool lost to Besiktas of all team. In EPL, Liverpool finished sixth, drawing matches they could've end in a win and losing matches they could've end in a draw
      Meanwhile Klopp managed to reach UEL final with Brendan's team.

    I think the biggest factor in Klopp success at Liverpool, are the fans. More than any player, more than any directive at the club, it is the fans who stayed with him and the players, despite not winning any trophy in a long time. Of course his management style, his football philosophy and his personality helps a lot, but I think that if he was in any other top tier club in europe, fans wouldn't have been as patient and supportive as Liverpool fans are

    I'm united fan, been watching PL since 2002. after jose mourinho's chelase , the other team which has been amazing impressive is Jurgen klopp's LFC and his team are a beast. The way he keeps everyone in touch fans-players-staffs at melwood is really great. Its so interesting to watch their matches as well as their YT channel too.
    Recent 5-0 defeat to them was heartbreaking yet they played very good game.
    Nowadays i dont miss Liverpool matches too, because the VVD ,Mo salah ,Maneand Trent are so fun to watch. Absolutely fantastic throughout the season.
    Usually other clubs buy stars but klopp buys quality players and makes them stars. Klopp is a manufacturing HUB of amzing players.

    One really interesting thing he also did which helped him have the huge succes he's had is the employment of analytics.
    It is a lesser known part of his revolution at Anfield which is why i feel it should be mentioned here.
    I mean the guy has two astrophysicist crunching numbers through supercomputers which might seem to have nothing to do with football but in reality it's quiet the contrary.
    For example they take the statistics from tens of previous games of an oposing team and they find out which player is the most likely to make a mistake if he's put under pressure and then Klopp drills his players to force the oposing team to pass to that player and then they all gang up on him trying to force a mistake.
    It's absolutely fascinating and I feel this kind of aproach is going to be a staple for all the top teams in the near future.

    Great video. Balotelli was never suited to Liverpool but I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Balotelli was not a gamble. His behaviour was the gamble. Before Liverpool - on the pitch he had been an excellent player and had the quality of being a super sub but off the field he was bad. Bizarrely at Liverpool it was the other way around being bad on the pitch and well behaved off it!
