I'm wondering what the time after Klopp at Liverpool will look like. His departure left a huge hole in Dortmund, which no other coach has been able to fill to this day. There were good coaches there, but they always failed because of Jürgen Klopp's benchmark.

it’s not easy to find someone who can take the hot seat job…… easy to name names, but in reality LFC n FSG must carefully do their research properly to find the one that suits the club for a long term, not a short term… glad that Michael Edwards is coming in to help out…..
If it's one thing FSG are good at, and probably the best at too, is researching before investing. All the way from taking over Red Sox, to LFC, it's all been a masterclass all the way through. After owning the club for a significant time now, I'm sure they understand the fans a lot better and will always take the spirit of anfield into consideration while taking decisions. FSG are good owners, they've done it by the books always.
Update: Alonso announced that he will stay at Leverkusen (the right decision, imho), so he is out of the race. And yes, Klopp will be missed. I do not envy the manager who will take on the task to fill these shoes.

I'm wondering what the time after Klopp at Liverpool will look like. His departure left a huge hole in Dortmund, which no other coach has been able to fill to this day. There were good coaches there, but they always failed because of Jürgen Klopp's benchmark.

it’s not easy to find someone who can take the hot seat job…… easy to name names, but in reality LFC n FSG must carefully do their research properly to find the one that suits the club for a long term, not a short term… glad that Michael Edwards is coming in to help out…..
If it's one thing FSG are good at, and probably the best at too, is researching before investing. All the way from taking over Red Sox, to LFC, it's all been a masterclass all the way through. After owning the club for a significant time now, I'm sure they understand the fans a lot better and will always take the spirit of anfield into consideration while taking decisions. FSG are good owners, they've done it by the books always.

Yes announced earlier this week and we agree.. it’s the right decision for his development. The Sporting manager seems to be front runner but nothing concrete yet and again, agree that anyone who takes over is a very difficult task and we wish them luck!
