    Thank you. Now I understand hollowing and holes!

    Has Lychee changed the holes to something similar to Chitubox? Cause thats far simplier and easier to understand not to mention it takes whats being cut out and creates plugs to be used to fill the holes back in (I'm going thorugh these video's to try Lychee out for the first time so I haven't tried the program out yet to see for myself).

    If an object was already designed as hollow, I'm guessing blockers don't work?

    Great video!
    I saw you mentioned using a cylinder (for example) from the library and use it as a hole.
    Can I use that to create something like a flat donut for example?
    Like create one large flat cylinder as model, and another small one and tall at least as the first and put in the center of the first one, and mark the 2nd one as a hole.
    Would that print as a flat-donut?
    And another question, can I for example print a miniature's base flat but lift it lets say 0.4mm from the build plate, and put under it a cylinder from the library with height of ~0.5mm (so that it overlaps with the base enough) and diameter 1~2mm smaller than the diameter of the base itself. The purpose would be to let that cylinder be cured with the bottom layers settings (usually x10 of the normal layers curing time) and hide the elephant foot under the base (ideally the cylinder + elephant foot would get just as wide as the base, but being slightly smaller would obviously hide it without compromising stability).
    Also can I create two cylinder from the library. Make the 1st one wide lets say 30mm diameter and ~5mm tall and the 2nd cylinder make it lets say 10mm wide diameter, mark it as a object-hole and put it in the middle of the first cylinder. Would that print as a flat donus (if the hole-cylinder is tall enough to pierce the 1st cylinder), or would it leave a dead-end hole the a solid object that could be used for example to insert a magnet inside.
    Does anyone know?

    What does the check board mean on this?

    The blocking is not 3orking for me.

    Could you update this video to the latest version? The newest version of Pro has totally different functionality.

    but when you make hollowing in 2D the holes changing completely? or is the same feature lioke 3d hollow?

    Damn, pro feels worth it to get. Do u think the free version is good enough for a amateur?

    And how do you remove the infill supports after printing ?

    • @MichaelPavlovich
      @MichaelPavlovich  Před 2 lety +1

      very carefully I suppose, but I've never needed to remove infill supports since I don't see them...and if I'm printing something translucent, I'd probably opt for the dimming option under hollow 2D. There's also dissolvable supports, but I've only seen that with filament printers.
