    The $2 bill is so many different things to different people. Personally I think its pretty cool. Conversation starter and unique artwork on both sides

      I’m the $2.00 guy now.. I’ve paid bills in $2.00’s in Central Texas, I’ve used $2.00’s more often.. I feel better carrying $2.00’s anyways. Store clerks know me as the $2.00 guy.. The response is awesome! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I wish I meet a female $2.00 lover like me. Yet I’ve waited for love since 1990. I guess marriage and family can wait.

    Fascinating stories. I didn't know anything about horseshoes and their backstory. $2 bills have been pretty lucky for me without absolutely no research on why. I just like them (as well as most US Currency).

    I keep a lucky red seal two dollar bill in my wallet. It's brought me really good luck and really good fortune these past few months along with rare finds like a Morgan dollar from 1904 in the coin star or a 1929 one hundred dollar someone spent on groceries where I work. I never take it out of my wallet.

    So work in a restaurant and i was super kind and talked to this lady that seemed a little different and i helped her gave her her food and had good conversation. Before she left she was very appreciative and said she had a gift she gave me a $2 dollar bill and said it was good luck. I looked it up and the 5 reasons why it’s bad luck i have been having issues with. Did i just get cursed or is it really lucky ?

      It's neither nor good nor bad luck. It's what you believe it to be. Most people think it's good luck because they also believe it's rare (it's not) and a unique item. But it also has a history of superstitions behind it. I would treat yours like regular currency and spend it - you'll probably make someone's day.

      @@TheTwoDollarBillDocumentary Probably some form of urban lore, designed to politically sway the vote. Maybe this is a great reason to hit the banks when they open for a few more stacks of twos. Love them.

      Bill 457, if you visit other banks, and drop $20.00’s $50.00’s or $100.00’s ask for $2.00’s the teller will dig for it. I dropped $50.00 bill and got back $40.00 in $2.00’s! Drive Thru tellers might have wads of $2.00’s and dollar coins. One bank I drove thru, had over $2,500 in $2.00’s! Two banks said I had to have an account.. But some love to trade $2.00’s for $10,20,50,100 bills. It’s a sweet experience! ❤️❤️❤️ I traded two’s for a $10.00 for a store clerk wanted $2.00’s for her grand-kids..

      Just like any other denomination, yes, even if some places aren't using cash as much. But they SHOULD use twos, because they may be safer: czcams.com/video/3X2MSPayHj8/video.html

    Great as always my friend but I heared that they are going to either redesign or retract 2 $ bills next year.Don't know if it is true.However they will be become lucky dollars cauz they are going to be rare .

    • @TheTwoDollarBillDocumentary
      @TheTwoDollarBillDocumentary  Před 3 lety

      Not true. Not true at all. A redesign is only needed to add anti-counterfeit measures, which the $2 doesn't need because it's too small of a denomination. Even if they did redesign it, the old twos probably wouldn't be rare, because there are still enough of them out there, even if there are no new ones. Thanks for commenting! Good to hear from you.

    Lucky number 7? Pfft. I absolutely detest that number. It's odd, it's rarely evenly divisible or easily multiplied, it brings years of bad luck, it's irritability revered by simpletons, and it just looks like a lazy 1. I actively avoid this number when working with it. Rather trying for 6 or 8 if possible. The only time I tolerate it is if it's not something I can not easily reject like a credit card number. The 2 dollar bill, on the other hand, is easily lucky and perfectly acceptable no matter the occasion.

    • @TheTwoDollarBillDocumentary
      @TheTwoDollarBillDocumentary  Před 4 lety

      All good, but as the video shows, the $2 bill has ZERO origins for being a good luck charm, while the 7 at least has something tangible to latch onto. The bottom line is that all good luck charms are in the eye of the beholder; no item inherently is lucky or unlucky - that's foolish thinking. We assign the qualities of luck to various items because of our own experiences.
