How To Dominate Without Even Dribbling!

- At any level of basketball, most players only have the ball in their hands for less than 5% of the game. What will you be doing the rest of the game? Players like Klay Thompson, Ray Allen and Reggie Miller (although they were/are also fantastic with the ball) made their living off of scoring without even having to dribble! Check out how you can do it too...

You should make an Attention to Detail in READING A DEFENDER. Like so he can see!
RMG it’s pretty self explanatory lol
I got you bro.. If they go left, you go right. If they go right you go left. If they bite on a head fake or pump fake they’re 💀 do literally whatever you want. Finally if they step back or sag off of you shoot. 🤷🏾♂️
Attention to Detail: Alphonzo Dyser
Thx man
All I’m waiting for. It’s not that simple lol
Not that easy if you think about it. But I'd like to see it too.
This is the best basketball channel when it comes to iq i swear i learn more here then in my team
Stay Motivated love that profile pic and I love dev lol
Me too,
i always ask my coach for tips and tricks and he always says he aint got any tips for me.

Tell Trevor Dunbar what up for me( I’m his lil cuzin)
Rip Hamilton has the most underrated off ball movement ever.
and drose and devin harris
Disagree, he is known for that
Spot up shooters are the most underrated, used-up and disrespected players we have. I start off bball as a spot up, but I always have teammates dribbling and ISO nonstop and chuck bricks (the REAL inefficient shotchuckers), and we're just used to fill their team and pass to us ONLY if we're VERY open. Even moving off ball, they just ISO. Which is why as a shooter, I HATE playing ball sometimes for this fact. So, I improved my dribbling and adapted streetball handles, where I took my own ball and break ankles. And when they guard me harder, I shoot over them. Thanks to ballhoggers, I became a BEAST
Mrgoodkenneth you became the one thing you swore to destroy😔
Bro this happens to me most of the time. I work on dribbling and play 1v1s just to become more dimensional. However, my teammates don't allow me to score in most situations with the ball. They tell me to never dribble and run around. Matter of fact, I hate this because the other team would make the worst player to guard me since they know I'm not an iso scorer. I just don't have the efficient handles because I'm not born with the dribbling flow.
@@gboy7warriors121 Don't matter. Dont force train your handles, naturally dribble then pound the ball hard for hours. Trust me results will come when you feel like there's a difference. So when the worst player guards you, break his ankles and scare the whole team. (Yup, one year ago and I'm still here hahhah)
I love moving off ball cuz defenders get tired of running after me. But like you stated , even when I’m moving off ball , they still ISO🤦🏾♂️ a lot of times when I do get the ball , it’s a late pass and the defender has already closed out on defense 👎🏽
Believe it or not, y'all, Ray Allen actually was a descent point-guard and showed flashes of a handle in the early years of his career. He developed a consistent, lights-out shooting facet of his game to allow him some semblance of longevity! Very cool and adaptive player.
This made me able to play at high levels against top recruits when I was playing basketball. Great game for anyone especially 2 guards.
Tip no.1 have a crazy great shooting skills first
Almost anyone can have shooting skills.
Its just hard work and do the mechanics well
1 - Crazy great shooting skills
2- Can't get open for a jump shot or lay up
Error 404
I learned the "run around the Court relentlessly and change speed to get open" thing from watching Reddick. Great clip.
Rip Hamilton comes to mind before watching this video.
and Rip got the inspiration from Reggie.
all was like one art polished by the next artist, and then they'd keep coming.
And reggie
thanks for saving me the trouble
BOUT TO BE ON MY KLAY THOMPSON
LOL DEAD
Amazing video but where is the kyle korver footage!
When you realize half the video is Ray Allen carrying Miami
Trust me, without clutchness from Ray, Lebron's 30ppg but end up losing alot of games is gonna ruin his legacy big time.
@@Mrgoodkenneth Lol that's like saying without the sharpshooting role that Kerr played the Bulls don't win 3 rings, let's not forget how many times Kerr bailed out Jordan when the Bulls needed 3
@@86SuperRay paxson too
@@Mrgoodkenneth Mr Clutch was Jerry West and they didn't even have the 3-pt back then.
Yes am a big supporter you guys keep coming with the great videos they really thought me a lot for beginner
It ain't a week without these fire vids!
This video is great, thank you for posting. We just taught push pull, back door screens, moving to an easier pass to the kids in our clinic last week.
Your videos or always on point them beats be 💯🔥🔥facts
No Curry? That is EXACTLY what puts him over the top
This video is so incredible! Im learn so much with you guys! Thanks very much!
Thanks for the advice👌🏼
Need a video on making the right cuts😩
Allen's jumper is so smooth
I just would like to say thank you, this channel really made me a better player
Good analysis. Thanks so much
How to dominate without the ball?
Zaza: it's easy, let me show you. You find the other team's best player, and...
🤣
Already know this finna be fire
your channel is the bomb!
Great video!🤘
Been waiting on this one
People hate guarding me cause I never stay still and I'm always moving once they get tired I get in my bag!!
Your litteraly the kid I hate guarding this comment hit me bro I would just leave you open
zeokenX lmao
great work!! thanks
Another awesome video, as always. But these guys have plays run for them (and even entire offenses built around Reggie) and they are some of the best shooters in the history of the game. It would be equally if not more useful to see guys who cut well and truly play with minimal touches of the ball with very few (if any) plays run for them: John Havlicek, Avery Bradley, JJ Redick (to name just a few, to varying degrees).
Best basketball channel on CZcams
so good... thanks
I love learning about basketball
Great video. Just one thing, it isn't just "motion", it's motion to get in position to catch & shoot. If you run in circles you're going to have your back to the ball passer for some time. That's probably a good time to speed up and limit that, though you might catch near the basket and reverse layup. Old videos of Chris Mullin show him doing this a lot.
One curious point, sometimes people suggest having the feet at an angle, especially for long shots. But, here the suggestion is to "square up". Curious.
This is great because i want to extend my scoring arsenal as the top 3 shooter of my high school i already tried moving without the ball now and it's not that bad. Since i can shoot from pretty much anywhere (yes even from 30 ) its a good way for me to score 3 pointers thx
Klay and Ray have the most beautiful set shots ever.
Best basketball channel
Can you make a video about setting screens?
GILBERT ARENAS ATTENTION TO DETAIL......please if you have time in that busy schedule lol. Besides that love everything else you make. Literally everything.
2:22 curry wtf?
LOL
You should also do this video for cutters
Klays mechanics are sensational.
Who dislikes your shit man? youre the GOAT, keep up the work!!!
I'm a sharpshooter on 2k and I am trying to be better and this video really helped me thank you
hey BAMB, can u teach us how to create a sizeup dribble ? why ball-handler like Harden and Kyrie have their own size-up dribble ? Do I need it as a SF ? thx
Great vid bro, soaking it in like a sponge
Dope vid
Great content
Another key is to point at the most open player if that’s not you so the ball-handler is aware of them
@4:55 Shoulders and hips *angled* to the rim before release. Shooter is square to *the bench* in this shot, not the basket.
great vid as always, but where is kyle korver
Follow our journey and much more! Let's make this go big 🙏 czcams.com/video/Tt0s0NnqmI4/video.html
This video is immaculate.
u got the dopest music
I'm a 5"3 guard. I think I should play the shooting guard position because I think I'm best in that. I can handle and shoot the ball well but I think I should play the two. Shooting is my main ability through. I have confidence that my growth spurt will help me in that too
Dude i love ur yt channel so great but could u try talking in ur videos i don't feel pausing to read
No cap this music is 🔥🔥🔥
Sometimes this is hard to do when the guys who play pickup dont know how to set off ball screens or pass to open teammates
Bruh , I hate when people don’t know how to set off ball screens 🤦🏾♂️ I’m great at off ball movement ; constantly running till I get open. Even then , it’s usually a late pass 👎🏽
🔥🔥🔥
Ray Allen and Klay Thompson
Do u have a video with tips to cutting? Like when and how to cut better? And how to get good set up to cut
Bamb (by any means basketball)
Great video. I like this a lot. A new change. Try doing rebounding like shaq or Bill or even Wes Unseld. A deeper look into the maths of how to read the ball of the glass and so on.
Shoot even Dennis Rodman.
how to work in this footwork?
Sometimes it gives the feeling of a travel... (when the shooter has just received the ball)
I guess you have to prepare the way you get to the spot while running
Beat is 🔥. Where can I find it?
Great vid, but showing some counter examples would be helpful here.
Count how many times Allen saved Bron
only 1, i dont even think he saved lebron. lebron did a great job tryna give them the lead,he did his part and that moment was for ray's part
@@dawei9443 sexual I see.
nope im not a bronsexual im just stating my opinion
get that hair fixed first bud
Everybody got a job on the court .... Ray did his well
Where's Kyle?
how to drive in through defender?
Mo ray allen. Dont neglect greatness.
Ya gotta show the bigs some love do Hakeem olajuwon or tim Duncan por favor
Oh shiiiet. I got that Patty Mills games so this is useful lol.
the problem is... when I run... I am the only one who understand we need to space the floor...
so I will be the only one running... and teammates are just there staying still... so I will end up crowding space instead of creating opening... so I just stop running
effective off-ball movements really relies on having teammate who understand the simple concept of spacing... and the value of movements...
and when I play street ball, it's hard to find people like that in my area... it's frustrating, because I love playing off-ball...
🔥
You should make an attention to detail in screening a defender
Rip Hamilton is another player that can effectively move without the ball
You can dominate with the ball by cutting as well
How to dominate without dribbling: jumpshot
finish the different type of Ball handling series
I lowkey be hitting niggas on the court, like I'll fake a sprint towards the baseline then fade back into the corner. I've gotten so many people with that move lol, basically a wide open shot half the time.
can you do How To Dominate as a big men pls
As a short reply, a lot of the knowledge one should know as a "big man" is positioning (both yourself and teammates), footwork (when you'll be in the low post), and just openness to learning. Expanding your game in the low post opens SO many options, not all of them scoring too. Some can set up teammates, where positioning knowledge will come in. Positioning also goes with knowing where your teammates will be, mainly the guards since you'll do things like setting screens (for PGs and SGs, or scoring options with forwards or whoever it might be in pick-up games randomly). Also, reading the defense. If you're setting a screen for your guard as an example, if both your defender and his come up to "hedge" the pick/screen you're setting to block off your guard, that means they see him as the threat and it gives you an opening to roll to the rim. If your guard/ball-nadler is any good, he'll see this and make the pass to you. You can grab an easy lay-up, or dunk depending on your ability LOL. And further in, if someone in the paint tries to cover you rolling to the rim, you pass it to the person HE was defending. I hope this sorta helps a bit as just general ideas typed-out lol, but good luck! - Just some young guy who plays a ton of pick-up and some city league games.
Thanks@@stealthknights
keep running until your open
Is this what people mean by being efficient with your dribbles?
How’d you get the beat it’s not on CZcams or SoundCloud?
you can find it in bandcamp.com
reggie miller chauncey billups is a great examples of scoring without ball
Damm though I would learn something from this channel but already know all this shit just from myself lol lot of this is common sense
Reggie Miller
Rip Hamilton
Ray Allen
Kyle Korver
Steph Curry
rip hamilton one of the best ofball players i guess
Pls make an attention to Detail Video in cutting
ray allen
NEEDA RIP HAMILTON VID ALONE. RAY ALLEN ALONE AND STEPH & CURRY TOGETHER.. THEN IMMA SEND PPL TO SUBSCRIBE TO THIS PAGE. BEEN TELLIN PPL ITS THREE THINGS THAT WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS.. OFF BALL SCORERS, DEFENDERS/REBOUNDERS & PASSERS.
But what if the one with the rock hogs the ball...
So I finna run around likeca headless chicken to get open and still not get a pass
The real thing is that its mostly choreographed by a coach and the Endless practices with same teammates.
people's memories are short and live in the moment. Lebron had a lot of help. Watching this should remind others how deadly miami heat was from the outside. Ppl make it seem like heat has no chance against the warriors and the warriors are unbeatable (rockets took them to 7 games and healthy cp3 I believe can beat them). lebron and wade can slow down curry, kd. battier can stick klay. Bosh can take draymond. iggy will have to stick ray allen. warriors might have 3 all time great 3 point shooters but rashard lewis, mike miller were some of the best 3 point shooters of that era. Even james jones and Battier are great 3 pt shooters. chris "birdman" anderson, haslem, joel anthony are tough bigs that can wear out cousins that just came back from acl injury. Warriors biggest achilles heel is turnover.chalmers and cole were also scrappy players that get steals on bigs. And lebron and wade's backcourt defense clamped down mvp drose.
AVERY BRADLEY ATTENTION TO DETAIL

The hardest part for me is the catch and shoot after a run. It’s too hard to jump straight because of the momentum of the run.
Can you make attention to detail the two dribble pull up the lost ark in the NBA
