  • Welcome to the X2 build series. Throughout this series I’ll be building The Edge Products X2 two seater buggy. It’ll be powered by a turbo 3 cylinder Yamaha Nytro snowmobile engine. As you can probably tell, I’ve got a lot of work to do on improving the videos. Drop all feedback in the comments and let me know what I could do better. If you like the content please leave a like. Thanks!

Do you have a good idea of what this project is going to cost you in total when finished? If yes, whats the total cost? Ps. If you pick up a tube/pipe notcher you can clean up those tube connections and save yourself alot of time. Keep it up!

The plans I have estimate $5500-$10000 USD before the engine. I expect to spend about $6000 in parts, I already have the snowmobile donor. I have probably spent about 5k in tools to do this job so far as I had nothing to begin with. All in I think about $15k including tools.
Also, I have a tube notcher. I have had little luck with it on any special notches. It doesn’t allow enough angle for most of the items required. I use it on the simples ones and they turn out great but anything complicated and it is pretty much useless.
      Thanks!

@@BWBGarage Nice! 10k ish isnt bad at all, considering a new rzr is in the 20k or 30k range.. Few years ago I had a 1 seater "piranha" style buggy with an R1 engine. It was so insane and I regret selling it.
Ps. Just rewatched the vid and you actually explain about the tube notcher a couple times.. thx.

J P yes.. I probably went and priced out razors 100 times and couldn’t swallow it. I’ll be happy with this and I think it’ll compete pretty good with one!
