- Hello, my lovelies! Here's a review and comparison of my Speedy B 25 in the monogram print and damier ebene print. Both bags were purchased new from the LV website (2019 and 2020)

Awesome review! I wish i can afford both. But i can only choose one. Im inclining towards mono. But yes im concern on the mono being loud and carefree. Such a difficult decision!

Excellent review. I thought about getting the monogram world tour speedy with the black handles so I could have something for all weather with the monogram print.

@@Moon-lt5bi I love the monogram print the best but I live in a snowy and rainy area. I don't want any of the world tour patches or my initials on it but I see that you can get the speedy monogram with the black handles.
and the red interior but you pay a good 500 dollars extra for that one.
if I lived in a dry climate or warm climate i would love to get the vachetta and just go with the regular monogram speedy. i like the idea of the patina and the comfortable strap. i thought about just going ahead and getting the regular and if I get water spots all over it so be it. I'm also not sure if I want to pay the price for it. I know it's worth it in the long run but I change up purses pretty often. I get bored of one or it sits too long unused.

I've heard the opposite actually, that the Damier Ebene doesn't do so well in a downpour, that the leather swells after... Something like that, just based on what other reviewers said. But thank you for your indepth review, really enjoyed listening to your thoughts... I'm still not any closer to making a decision, lol... I love both of them!
Laine Lee Thanks for your comment. I agree that it’s hard to decide. I’ve never heard of the leather swelling in the Ebene. Interesting to know. I ended up selling my Ebene speedy for the Neverfull gm in the same print. I’ve kept the mono though. Today I would say while both bags are beautiful, the mono is my fave...💕
Damier ebene ages really well. Husband bought mine in 2011 and still looks great today in 2023.
