I think the extended zipper on a leather bag is absolutely necessary - otherwise it would stretch out too much. I bet the canvas ones keep their original zippers. And I never realized how good the bag tags look on these! It really makes a difference I think.

I've been going back and forth about getting a new speedy and that new extended zipper just sold me! I love to use my speedy for travel and sometimes its hard to get in and out of with the shorter zipper.

I'm so glad the new Speedys have the longer zipper. Now you can get your long wallets in without issue. And your hand is not getting all scratched up on the zipper. They needed to make that change years ago and I'm glad they have done it. Like you, I hope it continues.

Last week we were cruising, and the ship had a WGACA.
I had become unwell, and hubby popped into our suite with a like new classic 2017 speedy 30. It was heavenly. And it’s my style. I’m 5’9” 175lb with size 12 feet so the 30 is just perfect. It’s a little slouchy and beautifully neutral.
I grabbed some d shackles, a brown guitar strap and a redundant 30 insert and now she’s ready to go as my daily wearer.
I don’t plan on adding another, I’m retired now and just need the one. But I love the idea of dressing her up, I’ll check your store 😊
I feel so much more confident and relaxed this time around and am actually using and enjoying my piece.

As far as the “pumpkin spice bag” I can see you wearing that in the fall with an all black romper and black floppy hat. Maybe some black gladiator sandals that lace up. It’s limited edition and beautiful. They spent some extra time on that bag. Embrace it.💕-Vickie

Beautiful collection Marquita! I have the Speedy B 25 in Black Empriente leather. When I first saw it, it was already discontinued but I just had to have it. So I bought it pre-loved last year. It was my first LV Bag purchase and it’s one of my favorite bags of all time. ❤️
It seems like the longer zipper is a thing with all the bags in that style in leather (LV Speedy and the MCM Boston bag) and the shorter zipper for the canvas or cloth bags for LV and Gucci. Currently, I think the only canvas bag with the longer zipper is the MCM Boston and maybes LV will follow suit. Like you, I think it is a good idea.

Fantastic video! I have followed your channel for a while more and it is my go-to source for info on LV products. With the longer/extended zipper, the LV speedy is certainly looking more attractive 😍 to me. My hubby got me the LV crafty lock-it flat slippers as a gift. Initially, I struggled with wearing it with other colors but realized that it works very well with neutrals like black, white, tan, brown or plain colored outfits. Any item from the LV crafty range is a perfect accessory to jazz up an otherwise understated monochrome look. Your bags are so beautiful, your taste is impeccable and your channel is just a blessing. I'm sooooo glad they extended the zippper, I got the 30 last christmmas and Ive not worn it yet, its just been on display in my closet, as a matter of Ive consider selling simply because of the length of the zipper but now that I know they have a larger , more accomdating bag , I'm very interested again!

I love that your new LV bag has the larger opening, I wish they would switch them all over like that. That’s the one thing that has kept me from buying a speedy, the small opening. It’s hard to get things in and out and see what you need to down in there. Back in the day I had a fake speedy and I can remember the same thing about that opening, just too small. Like I said I hope they start making them all like that now so I can get one.

I have the crafty speedy and I love it. It is a bit out there with the bright colour and print. But, i find it to be the most well made of all my speedy b25 bags. No regrets with this purchase at all.
