    i noticed that you are splitting the inled to the skimmer and pool if block off the other inlet to the pump all the suction will go thru the vacuum in the set up in the video you are losing around 50% suction. at the end of you video where you show the part it look like the supply a plug too (the round white piece)

    Does it attach to where the water sucks out of the pool or where it blows out like the Intex auto cleaner?

    • @RickBolt

      it attaches where it sucks water out of the pool, which is the pump intake. Thanks for watching.

    Hi Dude, thanks for the nice simple informative video. Want to know a bit detail on the base that your pool is standing on. Recently I bought same one as yours here in the video, but a bit worried whether to put it on directly on the garden or needs some strong base.

    Is the vacuum connected to the intake or the outtake of the pool. I got a Bestway version to this Intex and only the intake is threaded. Do I remove the threaded adapter from my intake and place it on the out take to connect the vacuum? It didn't seem to work when connected to the outtake

    • @RickBolt
      @RickBolt  Před 2 lety +1

      I connect mine to the intake. if you have two intakes like I do, you can add one of the rubber restrictors to the opposite intake to get more suction on your vacuum. I have an update video that shows it is a little better.

      @@RickBolt Thanks Buddy! Which is Intake? Is the "Intake" the two hoses that take water out of the pool into the pump/filter.
      Or is it the one that brings water into the pool.
      Either makes sense by way of naming convention.
      I hooked it up to one of my two ports that take water out of the pool assuming that this is consistent with creating a suction for the vacuum. Am I right?
      I haven't gotten it to work properly yet.

      @@RickBolt Quick tip from an old pool guy. When you're trying to remove the air from the vacuum line, put your pole on the end of vac head, hook one end of the hose to the vac head and lower it to the bottom of the pool, then with the equipment running take the end that your going to attach to the skimmer or suction line and hold it over your return jet. You'll see a load of bubbles come out of vac head, when the bubbles stop, the hose is fully primed.
