Thanks for watching! - Jak na to + styl
Thank you for the video
I vacuumed my Pool for the first time yesterday and I had a hell of a time trying to get the air out of the hose. No after watching your video
I think is going to be a piece of cake. Thank you
Glad it helped
Thank you. I was looking for a video that explains what to do with the second intake valve. All the other videos seem to only have one. Now I'm ready to clean my pool. Your video has been a lot of help. Took a lot of stress off me 😄. Once again thanks.
Thanks so much for this video. We have been trying for 2yrs to hook up the Vacuum. The 1 step we were missing was the "fitting" that needed to be exchanged for the Vacuum to fit. Eureka, it worked! I can't believe it was this simple. Thanks a million! Finally got a good Vacuuming for the Pool. Great Video!
You are welcome!
Just a thought - by keeping the vacuum at the bottom of the pool, you are asking the pump to try to force air to the bottom of the pool to exit the hose, so there is a lot of resistance. If you keep the vacuum near the surface while the hose is filling up, it shouldn't have to work as hard.
If it still has too much air after use have prepared your vacuum hose, start unscrewing the knob on top of the pre filter by the motor. This will make more water push into the Pre filter and allow excess air to escape
Thanks great info 😀 it would take forever to get the air out of the hose and I felt like I was Wrestling a snake 😂.
Thanks for watching!
Have you had any problems with the Intex Deluxe kit? Some people report that the bristles fall/break off both of the brush attatchments.
yes, I have had bristle failures. I updated to an auto vac. I have videos on the new vacuum.
What size pump are you using? Came with 2100 for same pool 12x24
Thank you for the video! The blue adapter part you show at 1:52, is that different from the skimmer adapter? My vacuum hose has rigid ends that are exactly the same diameter as my skimmer adapter, so it doesn‘t fit on there. If I see it correctly, you also don‘t seem to be using your skimmer adapter. If you‘re using a different part - where did you het it from?
yes, my adapter came from my vacuum kit.
Oh ok. I just have one of those scrubber heads on a pole with the vacuum hose connected. I can jerry rig that to the connector. It doesn‘t have a filter/net, though. Is that okay? Does the debris just get caught in the sand pump‘s filter?
Thanks for the tips! What vacuum are you using in this video?
Intex deluxe kit.
@@RickBolt I put my pump on waste when I vacuum. It seems I have better suction this way.
The black part you put over the second intake port. Where do you get that from?
If you bought the manual Intex cleaning kit, the cap you are asking about should’ve been included. The cap is not black like the one he shows is kind of light grey
What about the filter that goes in your skimmer that catches all the debris? I’m trying to clean mine and doing it the way the books says I get no suction. I also blocked my one intake and my pump said low pressure
have you backwashed and rinsed or cleaned your filter? Maybe the filter media is plugged?
Thank you for your video. We are having such a hard time. When we block the 2nd intake, the sand filter starts to beep because there is not enough pressure. Any thoughts on what we are doing wrong?
Maybe try backwashing and rinsing the filter? I have a video on my channel for that if you are not familiar. That would clean out the filter and allow better flow.
@Rick Bolt I did do that. How long do you usually backwash, and how long do you rinse for? Maybe we don't do ot long enough? Our pressure is always in the green though.
@@terabevilacqua8565
The owners manual says to do the backwash for a minute and after that you know your supposed to turn off the pump before you change the setting
You turn it off after the minute of backwashing and then you change it to rinse
Run it for a minute turn it off change it to filter and you are good to go.
The same happens to me. I'm always backwashing bc of flow restriction, not bc psi is high. I can't even get the hose filled with water before it's beeping at me. And with both open, there is no suction at all. I went to my local pool store and they don't give advice on "throw away" pools.
Just something I don't understand do I vacuum where the pupm is on filter ?
This vacuum hooks up to the intake side of the pump. This is where It sucks water in.
do you set the pump on filter when you vacuum?
Yes I set mine to filter.
@@RickBolt Thank you. Know I have some dumb questions but I am a first timer and not very savvy with these things. Another thing...where is the hose to use when on waste.
@@joannlovell3212 no problem. I usually just backwash and rinse after I vacuum.
My wading pool is easier to clean, flip and refill. lol
Haha, no doubt.
This thing does not work i repeat it does not work in no way shape or form . I would have a better chance of making peace in the middle east than getting this to work. It couldn,t even suck up as much as a piece of straw even after the hose was clear of air and the reducer was added to the intake valve . This thing is just useless .
