Can you please explain what you did when you insert the long hose inside? The water?? Did you fill it up with water and then hook it up to the pool!???
sharon diaz One of the other videos I watched showed inserting the hose in the pool first before attaching it to the vacuum you hold the hose up to the blower before you shut the pump off and it blows all the air out but you Gotta keep it submerged. And then attach it to the pump line after the pumps been shut off.
You can but anything you can keep OUT of the pump is best. The filter system does a great job of catching debris but it should really only be catching small particles.
With these types of filters it is best to get 1 person into the pool to totally get all of the air out of the hoses.

Can you use it without the net and just have the filter clean up the debris, and then just rinse the filter cartridge?

have the same vaccum. do you have to use the waterflow regulator with this.i have a 2500gph pump?
