- Elite downhill riders are back between the tape in Leogang, Austria for the UCI Mountain Bike Downhill World Cup. A new year and new rules see the introduction of a semi-final round where riders can gain more points counting toward the overall standings.

You can't even find a replay of the Finals without spoilers EVERYWHERE! Guess all we get to see is the winner's run, so 20mins of finals for the whole year with no suspense or excitement, sick! Good job UCI *slow clap*

Riders drop too close together to show more of the track I believe, not a big enough break between them to show more and more track, as there's always goanna be an overlap of riders on track and riders on the screen. I reckon they could do with changing that maybe 1 minute between each rider?
It's incredibly annoying they skip some of the most interesting parts of the tracks but show 30s drone chase on the most boring section. Do they do the same thing for finals? I couldn't find where to watch the recorded finals from the last race so I haven't been able to tell if they also have the same spotty coverage there as well.
100%, this is a great way to kill a sport.
That would be something for pay per view, several scenes, where you could chose which rider to view. But this poor version of the former channel is not worth it

I love how they showed a 45 second replay of slow motion when the #5 rider in the world was going down the hill and we didn't get to see it.
It is such a pain to find how to watch it. With RB it was much easier..

The best bit of footage all day was when they interviewed Holl , came in at the end of the interview and clearly heard the interviewer say “Did she say Fucking” 😂😂
Didn’t show the interview of Sam Hill after his run. Not sure if they understand the sport and why we watch it . Very poor coverage. With all my respect for Cedric , bring Rob back. I’m sure everyone miss “Look at the tiiiime” . I don’t believe I’m saying it but , miss RedBull to

Why is it so hard to see this live? I thought I had to sign up for Discovery plus - did that and no race to be found and then found out maybe I'm supposed to go through another site before Dis Plus? Do you want the sport to grow? Viewership to grow? Come on people!
Show more of the technical parts like in the woods and less of the boring stuff like motorway

Okay the broadcasting of the juniors is a great improvement, adding the semifinals it's nice, but hey... I came to watch the finals, and makes me furious to open CZcams and get a direct spoiler of who won, then I'm not even into watching the spoiler replay of the podium runs because it isn't even cool if I haven't watched the whole race....😢 Sad to see the broadcasting of my fav sport going down the drain. Now it isn't fun anymore.

ffs guys. Discovery has a multi year contract to broadcast these races. Rob Warner has a multi year contract with redbull. Constant comments of “bring back Rob” and “bring back redbull” is going to do nothing. You want these broadcasts to change then give real feedback and stop jumping onto the circlejerk

Such a shame, hopefully they figure things out because I really enjoy watching the racing, but between the spoilers, poor camera work, and awkward commentary, I’m pretty much over it!
Most fans hate change, but you guys have truly exceeded expectations. Warner is irreplaceable, but the commentating has been great. The production has been smooth as well, the only criticism id give is the camera angles. I think most fans would like to see the technical sections more than the speed sections. I know theyre harder to film, but thats the only area ive noticed a big change. Not many angles of tech sections.
You must be high. This commentating is awful and the camera angles are terrible. The commentating from Warner is what makes the whole broadcast worth it!
@Patrick Griffin for finals commentating was much better and more energetic. And that was my only issue was the camera work. Which hopefully is an easy fix. Also, I was extremely high. Maybe it was all shit 🤣

Apart from the pay per view format (absolutely bonkers)… the quality of the videos went back 10 years: drones that keep bumping into the riders and filming the blue sky, cameras from 10 years ago (maybe more) without HDR and continuous under and over exposure, lucky if you see 10% of the track with no time for reply or highlight, no Rob Warner…. Sorry Discovery but you really have a 10 yers gap to fill here!!!

Honestly pretty boring, the commentary is either missing something that rob had or over doing something rob did. Also I’m not sure if they get better shots for the finals but these shots are pretty boring and repetitive. It makes me not want to pay for the finals because I feel it’s going to be just as bad.
