At least Redbull was able to put their live videos on notify a week in advance for every race. That's how you build anticipation and get more views.
Discovery needs to understand when you are trying to grow popularity in a sport you don't hide the finals behind a pay wall. GCN+ does not interest MTB fans you may as well bundle it with a tennis channel.

Pretty much watching the top and bottom of each run. Nothing in between. Poor show….
This is a low and fast roller track. Getting air just slows you down.
Funny how certain riders get thier runs cut out or shots of the fans and they suddenly cut back and the rider has "lost time" 30 seconds of Ninas run and Tahnees but never miss a second of the Frenchies
It seems that 90% of the track is off camera and that part that is is straight section which is the most boring to watch. What happened to downhill?

They show twice as much of the track in Finals. Sucks it's not completely free anymore, there not doing to bad considering just about everything changed in the production and management of the events. It'll get better every year and there already starting from a better spot than Redbull started from there first year.
Discovery/ESO is doing to World Cup DH / Enduro what Discovery did to science education: dumb it down, make it fake, make it silly, make it random, make it tabloid.

It seems like UCI is going out of their way to make their coverage as bad as possible. Even their website is tough to navigate, huge disservice to a growing sport in every way possible.
I thought it was just me. I can't find the damn races. I'm scrolling through the shit. It took me 20 mins before I realized the World Champs weren't on GCN.
I can't ever find anything about it on my discovery+ subscription.

Mountain biking didnt get as big as it is with paywalls to races we have had for free for years, uci and discovery are just being greedy and for the money needed its not even better than the free finals on redbull, we want free finals and good comentators!

sorry to say, I am mostly interested in parts, especially results, etc, so I am skipping a lot within such a video. This means I am watching WAY MORE commercials (Apple: you bore me to death!) which is NOT skippable, than anything else, so dam annoying :-(
