Lol 🤣 I agree with Blanca regarding living in sin if you’re only married civilly because that’s what was also told to us when we went to the classes to baptize my daughter. She said to take the body of Christ, la Ostia, you must live in harmony with God which means married thru church, confessing your sins regularly, attending church every Sunday, etc lol! It’s a lot 😅 but y’all had me dead at the beginning of the podcast! Happy weekend guys!!

I’ve been lacking motivation to go to the gym and changing my eating habits and this episode has made me realize we all struggle on our fitness journey and it’s not only perfect. I will totally be trying the method of rewarding myself to keep the motivation going!

Being married by Civil only means you are legally married in the eyes of the government, but you are still living in sin in the eyes of “religion”. Two separate things. Civil is a legal commitment, religious ceremony is a spiritual commitment with the blessing of god.
Marriage is marriage. Being married in the eyes of the government is also being married in the eyes of God. Some people just choose to have a religious ceremony and some don't. The point is that you make a promise to be with each other until death do you part. And as long as you keep that promise, you are following Gods principles ( according to the Bible ).
Thank you guys for being so open and honest with your fitness journey because now I know where to start. Jonathan is so right that not many people say what they do in order to monetize on people wanting to have a healthier lifestyle. You guys are so real and I appreciate the both of you ❤.

AGREED!!!! The part by pushing yourself and feeling good to go to the gym and reaching goals as in buying gym clothes leggings sports bras I love it !!! I do this if I hit the gym at least 5 days a week I will buy me a pair of leggings or something for the gym and if I don’t I do not buy myself nothing until I reach the 5 days a week! Yes I completely agree about not trying to loose weight so quickly. I have lost 50 pounds and have kept it off but because I made it a lifestyle and lost those 50 pounds in the time span of maybe 2-3 years. Slowing down the process and being patient makes it more sustainable in the long run.

Fitness journey is so hard 😢 specially when you have a lot of things going on and feel so bad about yourself. I had surgery back in 2021 and it hasn’t been easy… I’m at my biggest weight right now and I finally hit rock bottom and want to change my life around and be the best version of myself ❤ I’m going to be 33 this year and I want to be fit and healthy 🎉

Ideally I think people do expect you to be married civilly and through church, but I personally don't think that you are living in sin if you only get married civilly. I think you receive God's blessing as soon as you allow God into your life and your marriage whether you are civilly married or civilly married and through church. I feel the same. I’m still breastfeeding and can eat plenty, yet everyone is surprised that I look so skinny and that I have a chubby baby. Haha, I love that he’s chubs! I try to eat healthy, but I’m not restricting myself. Going on walks and taking care of him is my exercise. I only sit to eat, drive and work, otherwise I’m always walking and helping him walk. I would say it’s nice to not have restrictions in Macros or foods, but I have no butt 😭 I lost muscle and that’s my only motivation to seek heavy lifting, but probably after breastfeeding. Pilates or yoga sounds nice before trying to get back into heavy lifting. My back already hurts from carrying my 25 lb baby🥲 P.S. y’all had me laughing 😂 and yes, I would say having sex after marriage would be after the religious ceremony where you get the blessing- (the whole point of the sacrament, that is in catholic religion),not the civil marriage, but everyone does whatever they want. What they shared was misinformation and they probably didn’t know or didn’t believe.
