Another game by the producer of Octopath Traveler, which means we get more of the Square Enix 2D goodness we come to expect from them. While it ain't as graphically impressive as their previous game, it more then makes up for it with a incredibly well-told story, and brilliant tactics gameplay.

Joke is (a year too late) on you: you don’t need to protect Roland to get the best ending, you need to not use the wildfire traps and that means it’s arguably easier to surrender him (as the other map isn’t as hard as Avlora without the traps, although still tough). ;-P

Well, I'll say this one basically has no spoilers as it just talks about mechanics and the like, with a basic overview of the story. I'll be releasing a spoiler-filled story focused video where I praise the game a ton later in the week, so look forward to that one once you finish the game.
Your review convinced me to play triangle strategy... and i'm loving it. Hope it will keep high quality narrative throughout the end.
So not a spinoff game of the guards from Squid Games. :(

Dub, seriously? Why even waste the time on listening to something that wasn't made originally.
Original is always a way to go, why would any sane person butcher it with dub.
And yes, translation is bad and purposely over complicated. Typical for square games. FFVII Remake was even worse.
Yeah the translation was weirdly funky at times. While I definitely used to be a sub over dub guy, nowadays I tend to give both a chance. That said, yeah for sure the Japanese dub is better for Triangle Strategy.
Haven't played FF7 Remake yet but guess that's something to look forward to.
