@@peppefailla1630 Laptop or Desktop? most unexplainable performance losses are caused by using too low wattage of a power brick leading to cpu throttling, or off brand, Some Dells will detect a non dell power adapter and restrict performance for no reason like Apple, if its a third party brand make sure it states it can work with dells. Also Your SSD could be dying, Some don't just poop out, some just work but slow as balls, check it with crystalmark, But most of all, it's usually dust and dried out thermal paste. Also 8gb is the recommended minimum for "grandmas" pc these days.

I installed windows 11 back when in came out in 2021 on my computer from 2011 with a xeon chip (W3690 for those wondering), it ran way better than I expected.
You can also use a special program that cancels out all of the system requirements and updates your pc directly from the iso (idk what it’s called) I did it as my motherboard did not support the UIEF mode that it needed for win 11
installed it on Acer aspire core 2 duo intel965 graphics 2GB DDR2 ram, it takes 800mb of ram then settles on 1.1gb after installing updates, languages, etc... found windows8.1 64bit is much faster & snappy & only takes 550mb of ram

It actually works without the regedit mod. I dont know why everyone says about that regedit thing. It has always worked for me on a i5 4th gen and on a i5 6th gen. But you still need UEFI. Both had tpm 1.0 but on the first one I tried with it disabled and it still worked without regedit.

I5 2400 systems i love em there cheap reliable and have plenty of power for light tasks such as running laser engraving machines media centers all that is run off i5 2400 systems core 2 duo is decent as well
even the full windows 11 will work I was previously using a core 2 duo with 4 gb ddr2 ram and windows 11 without gpu was working pretty good, I can tell you would not be able to tell the specs while using the pc everything was super smooth until obviously you got to play a 1440p video or something and do something other than work
You can also bypass the system requirements with using the official version, you don't need tiny11 for that. You can set some keys in the registry if you are clean installing Windows 11 on unsupported hardware and want to bypass it. If you have an existing installation of Windows 10 you can use the dynamic upgrade script to upgrade. You can do that on 7, 8 and 8.1 too but note that a direct upgrade path is not available for these, you can only keep personal files, not programs.

I have an Pentium core, 3GB ram 1TB Hdd no graphics card pc, it was very slow and the hdd got corrupted. After contemplating for months(like 7 months) I finally decided to try to fix it and it didn't work. But still once again tried after few months and installed zorin os (it's an Linux distro) from bios and removed win 10 from it. Somehow it worked and now I have a fully functional zorin os lite with no corruption. Now I can play minecraft 1.8.9 and I get 50-70 fps with optifine and low settings. I have never thought I can run minecraft so smoothly on that ancient thing.
@@InfestedSlab see, personally speaking (both windows 7 and zorin OS lite runs on low end hardware) actually it depends because linux (zorin) still receives updates while windows 7 stop receiving updates since 2020 so for security windows 7 is not a good option but for performance both are same
You could also use a default bootable windows 11 and edit the registery with bypasses but thats probably not smart because of the age of the computer + the bloatware that windows 11 contains. I wonder what kind of bloatware windows 12 will have
I have 14 years with my Toshiba Satellite A505 running with a first generation Intel Core i7 720qm and 8GB of DDR3 ram with an SSD, it runs Windows 11 and wallpaper engine like nothing, and for my use at university it works great, its a geeay companion with my gaming desktop PC, I refuse to buy a new laptop because it is so common for the hinges to die after two years. My hinges are already 14 years old and have never caused a problem.

My i3 7020U ran it, it has TPM *2.0*, the full version actually, no stripped down version, with 4GB of RAM, and an HDD, but people say it doesn’t support processors that are less than 8th gen :(

You don’t even need Tiny11 for anything above intel 2nd gen as long as you have an SSD
