I was once an alcoholic, i had reached a stage where my breakfast was a glass of alcohol.( Kutoa lock) i lost my job due to much drinking.i sold all my house items and i couldn't pay rent anymore , went back to the village and started drinking cheap alcohol ( busaa) ,my health started deterioration. One day i sat down and i decided enough is enough.i quit alcohol completely.

Pole sana. I hope he gets help while he's still young. My brother is 61 and has been an alcoholic for over 40 years. We've tried everything. We just thank God that he has a stable wife who has supported him and their children. If not for her, he would be dead

I feel in for you brother. God is merciful. Stick to the Lord.i went through the same in America but my wife is awonderful woman, she stick with me and I'm back on my feet. Let's give God glory.
Harry from DEKUT-Thanking God for your healing.
Such an encouraging story! Happy that you overcame.
Can we also talk about the common thread in a lot of these stories - exposure to drugs during adolescence particularly in high schools. That is the genesis of all these problems. Exposure to narcotics at that stage, when the brain is still not completely developed messes up with brain chemistry and reward pathways . There is a good reason why alcohol comes with a warning that it should not be consumed by people younger than 18. Perhaps we may even need to repeal our laws upward to 21. Then, crackdown on under age drinking with all the seriousness it deserves.
Mwaura for real....God is good.... I know this man....Alikuwa anafanya bank... for real he lost his bank job ... even his family.....God bless you aki.....
Well done Harrison you will assist my people
May the Almighty God sustain you.
Thank you for sharing your story Harrison. Thanks again Justus for your CZcams channel that really educates us. What Harrison is saying is that the government needs to have a multi-disciplinary approach to dealing with alcoholism. It is a complex illness and creating policies without understanding the cycle of addiction does not help.
Well done Mwaura. Your destiny is great. You went through all that for a purpose. Many life will change through you
thanks lucy. it is well. praying for more

Thanks so much for sharing your story. I've been drinking a lot to cope with insomnia. Sometimes I drink a pint of vodka so I can fall asleep. If I'm too tired during the day, I'll drink so I can fall asleep. I'm worried that I'll become an addict. Sleeping pills aren't helping, the doctors have given me every kind of pill but they don't work
Pls find some therapy as well to try and manage the insomnia without using alcohol
@@nualisplace thanks. I'm planning on going to a therapist that treats anxiety coz I think its one of the things that causes my insomnia
Mercy you can also try gym and change of diet, it helps with insomnia.
@@catherinekafu8710 it's kind of annoying since insomnia causes me to get too tired to exercise. I used to work out for 2 hours daily
@@mercyk2672 jaribu magnesium glycinate it's nice for anxiety and insomnia
This is my last weekend of betting.., , though am not an alcoholic, in betting you'll end up loosing even if you win

Betting pays, bila hiyo sioni nkiservive hii kanairo

Bet responsibly 😂 key word
yes one can bet responsibly and for a long time as long as one does not proceed to stage 3 and remains in stage 2 social stage. do we have the control really. when one tries to control something it means it is already controlling you.
I wish he could be able to help one of my nephew back in Tanzania..,he is in very bad state because of abusing alcohol.
Waaa
Wow
Now you see the reason islam prohibited 🚫 taking alcohol and playing gambling...it hurts you but islam is the true religion
😔😔🙏
Gambling brada
Wee ulikuwa unabet kiujinga thats why why lost 1.2M na umeandikiwa hapo bet responsibly

alcohol abusers blaming alcohol for their failures
@ Jethro nobody is perfect well maybe you thats why you are judging. Like someone else said you are "deputy jesus". He is not blaming anyone he is blaming himself. Its not the fall that counts its the rising after the fall.
