That's what I thought when hearing the song few weeks ago for the first time, getting kind of sucked in this storyline by the comments on CZcams. But maybe one should consider that some mental attitudes/ psyche states work so well together because they push each others buttons. It feeds this inconsistent behavior. Maybe not healthy but if Halseys listeners can identify themselves with it then it doesn't have to imply that they just aren't able to notice this inconsistency.

And I'm sorry to say that but you went just on step further, flipped it, showed that - in this case - halsey could also be the "bad guy" and how horrible such a relationship/ownership can be without staying constant by your first point that there are always two sides of the story. It does not change the way of relating to this stuff if someone just switches sides.
