His times, at his age, are ridiculous! Do you happen to know what his 100M and 200M times are? The way he runs, it really looks like he just goes all-out the entire race, so I'm curious how low he could potentially get. As a FRESHMAN, he ran one of the 4x400M anchor legs in High School history! A FRESHMAN!!! Could he have WR potential?
Rooting HARD for 18yr old Christian Miller & 16yr old Quincy Wilson to make their respective 100/400m Finals @Trials! Even if at best they only make a relay team, getting to go to Paris & running just the semi round will still be a great experience for both teenagers!

Quincy is a beast!!! His only hindrance is his height. 5ft9 is keeping his stride just a bit behind those taller guys in the top 4. His turnover is phenomenal. He is putting the world on notice.
Coach - I’m curious to get your thoughts on Cooper’s and Quincy’s upside potential. I cannot process that Cooper is less than a second from Granville’s 1:46 NR, as a freshman. The future of US Track is looking very promising.
Yes, he’s extremely fast and exceptional athlete. Probably a generational athlete. I can’t recall a freshman running so fast but he is deafly absolutely not even remotely close to making the Olympic team hype man maybe the next.
Quincy is not ready yet. He needs to develop more top end speed. An American Olympic 400m runner is also probably a 20 flat or sub 20 second 200 meter runner. Quincy seems to already have the strength. When he turns pro (I don't see the point of college track or even another year of high school track) a good professional coach will break down and rebuild his form.
@@StevieAustin-ow3gc you’re 1000% incorrect. You should probably go talk on a different thread. How come you don't talk more about Mia Peterson from Lake Oswego H.S. - Oregon. She ran 11:00 last year as a junior. She was looking amazing before the hamstring tear... she has to be getting close to healed up and ready to start training again.
COACH WHY NOT GIVE QUINCY SOME TIPS ON THAT BAD HABIT OF THROWING BACK THE HEAD LIKE THAT....HE CAN BE FASTER IF THAT CHANGES...the average human head weighs around 5kg or 11lbs , holding the headvertical with a slight angleforward will make a big difference in histime and style... he is using to much energy like running with weights
Quincy is not ready, next year he will be running 44 mid , with the added natural growth factors. He can Market himself. And even receive max NIL deals from anything representing Speed and Endurance. He might compete in Michael Johnsons Pro League as an invitee and maintain amateur status. Whatever he does , there is no need to rush him. It took years to build the Pyramids slowly by slowly.
Quincy is super fast but not fast enough to make the Olympics even on a relay team. He's still currently slower than Matthew boling who's also not making the 400m team

Coach, Quincy is special. I am in Maryland. Watching this kid since he was like 9 years old. He was born for this.

Quincy Wilson is definitely one of the most interesting stories of the year. Great video!
This talented young man has been running in flats!

Watched Lisa Raye run at New Englands 2 weeks ago. Absurd talent doesn't even describe it. Her sister got second in both the 1 and 2
I definitely will be looking for Miller at the trials. 100m is loaded. This is going to be a great 10 days of track and field Competitions.
Quincy will be a champion some day mark my words.
He isn’t making the Olympic team. he is fast but the trials are entire,y different animal.
Hello Israilites, Miller should have made relay for qualifying for,4×4,100; prelims.
Love your videos, would to see a where are they now video of wonder boys of the 400m 1981-2000

Hey Coach Rob, are these kids being tested for doping? And what's your take on the doping problem?
Bingo
Only time will tell.
Sydney McLaughlin was 16 at the Olympic Trials correct? We are spoiled!
16 years old, incredible. !! Here in South africa is a very promising 16 yr old, but nothing like this. Roy b, CapeTown south africa 🇿🇦
No way 😂😂😂
They definitely ain’t making the team this year.

OK. He's a world class 400 guy. He still needs better top end speed. Five years from now he might be a better 800m runner.

People said the same about Chris Taylor from jamaica. It's possible he peaked already
Did you see my son Gunner Hammett. He broke 2 world records 3 days apart at Brooks and new balance. He just turned 12 and ran a 2:00.69 in the 800m
