I covered this subject at length and warned about this in 2019 in a video titled "Will CZcams Delete Whisky Tuber Channels?" I then directly contacted several fellow Whisky Tubers and politely warned them that they were in danger of being banned because they used links to directly sell alcoholic beverages. THEY ALL gaffed me off. Also, channels that do raffles and give away samples in exchange for super chats are in violation of CZcams guidelines. I have warned them but again they have gaffed me off.

Great review. I have only the 5 and 6. I'm one of the few that prefer the 6. Looking forward to get the 7. Is it already available in Canada. Not available in Quebec yet

I have 3 and 6 and honestly between the two I prefer the 6
Batch 6 was the first Glenallachie I ever tasted & I love it. Just picked up batch 5. Also have the 12 year, 15 year and 13 year Rioja finish. Not counting the 10 CS I think I enjoy the 13 year Rioja finish the most. I love that combo of 11 years in a bourbon cask followed by the 2 years in Rioja casks. Cheers!

Hopefully you guys have backups or decide to cross post on alternative platforms like Rumble or Odysee if Susan starts wielding the ban hammer. YT could have done the reasonable thing and age restricted the content if the concern was about underage exposure but I doubt that.
Rob, only have Batch 3 and enjoying very much. About US$ 90. Not too much sherry. Have just discovered Signatory CS series and WOW!! Deanston and Strathmill 13 year olds for about $20 more. AMAZING!
Tried the batch 6 at a bar about a month ago as part of a Glenallachie flight of 3 which also included the 12 and 15. I thought batch 6 was excellent but the standout for me was the 12! Was honestly not expecting it to be as good as it was. I'd put it on par with batch 6 despite being 46% abv. The 15 kind of got lost in the shuffle between the other 2 even though it was a solid dram. Thanks for another interesting whisky rant and fun blind tasting!

Thought the 15yr 2021 was incredible, probably my favorite Glenallachie I’ve had. Got a batch 5 CS have yet to open, soon though. Tried quite a number of either pre-Billy Walker or early Billy Walker stuff at a tasting in Taiwan, a lot of it was hot and in my opinion not very good, though that minerality you mention was present.
Great video as always! I myself have only managed to get hold of the batch 7 here in the UK. As a side note I believe Rioja is pronounced “re-ock-a”

One of my channels was terminated by CZcams with no warning or notice because of my attitude towards some virus that was going around... Fortunately, I kept copies of most of the vids, and they are currently being re-posted on an archive channel being administered by a friend of mine.

Fabulous reviews Gents! 7 just came into the States! Ridiculous that it’s selling for 115 US. I too love the Batch 5 and in my area it’s the only available. Recently picked up the 12 Port US Exclusive. Liked but not loved. 1/3 thru the bottle and it’s getting better. A bit thin in impact of flavor. 4 never made it to the States. Five is still available near me. Thanks always! Neal

Nice rant. Got a batch 2 couple years ago for $65. It got much better after it was open for 6+ months. Batch 6 is really good also.
When batch 4 opened up, it is damn good. Batch 5 is good right of the bat but I get more artificial sweetness. Never had the chance to try 3. Question: any thoughts on Bomberger’s Declaration?

Out of the 4 I have (batch #2, 3, 5 & 6). My favorite is #5. The 2021 bottling 15-Y is the best of the core range though

I'm rather glad to see you two didn't like the batch 7 as i found it pretty darn bad and it was my first experience. At least it gives me hope that there have been better bottles. So far Glenallachie hasn't done much for me between this, the 15, and a single cask I picked up. Still hoping to find a winner.
I love Glenallachie. Wasn’t a fan of b6 though and likely b7 since it finished last in the tasting.

The advertising of tobacco is more regulated than the advertising of alcohol, and it is likely the tobacco advertising regulations which are of concern to CZcams, which is primarily an advertising business.

I got batch 4 and can't get used to it. It is the alcohol that is bugging me, i find it a little too hot. Water doesn't make any difference. It is ofcause distilate from before Billy Walker came. So i am hoping that spirit that is made under him will be (much) better.
Prices are in the Netherlands outrages, it is now around 85 euro and up. Way to much for 10 CS. Paid 65 and that's ok.
I bought batch 4 as my first Glenallachie and decided that the distillery is not for me !

Glenallachie is using Maker’s Mark casks exclusively on their bourbon cask stuff now and all first fill is what they are saying
Batch 3 should be 3500 cases instead of bottles, according to official website.

Patreon is where the money is at. I have it on good authority that at least 10% of subs will do Patreon. It equates to someone like Ralfy pulling 10k a month or more. It’s all a numbers game and how many Patreon people one can get. CZcams money is a drop in the bucket for whisky channel’s. Patreon changed everything and a person can make a good living even doing low tech production if you can get the the Patreon subs and some are. High production value is very overrated and unnecessary

Advertising alcohol and tobacco should be difficult. Make videos about something else or don't. Turn off monetization or don't. Nothing your viewers can do about it. Seems like you're complaining to the wrong people (the viewers).

Start looking for alternatives for your content! Whisky-tube has become such a positive and welcoming community, it would be a shame to lose it.
