I'm personally a greatsword enthusiast as far as 2-hander swords go. But we all know the answer is Messer.
@@noahsaint3232 Weirdly messer is the one I've never tried, which is maybe something I need to change. I tried the greatsword, and while I liked it, I'm currently obsessed with the longsword and halberd. There's something really satisfying about the longsword stab. 🤣

The Champ !! I love the Battle Axe, hits like a truck
from a competitive standpoint. The Battleaxe is the best. The stam drain is insanely good and can make for some of the best conditioning in the game. As well as the good damage. While it is the shortest Axe I believe you can always facehug.
Not really it depends on the map/objective if it's an open area battle axe is gonna be bad. But close quarter fights where everyone is cramped then battle axe is top tier.
Battle axe does everything you want a axe to do: overwhelming power. It has high damage which leads to bigger stamina drain and it's almost always a guaranteed 2hko with heavies. It's available on devastator so your walking speed makes up for being heavy while crusader is better in indoor fights or chokepoints where spacing is a problem.
Hey, good to see Chivalry still gets a bit of love these days. Me and everyone i know abandoned it after the devs basically gave us console players the finger, but its nice to see its still got a community.

Were is the pole axe ?
The executioner axe seems to surprise a lot of people with its reach. It's fun to see them try to dodge out of the way only for it to still reach. I think the battle axe should be higher on the list, but where I don't know. A guy I know who mains battle axe often gets 100 kills in matches using it. He is level 1000 though, so that could explain some of it.

I love dane axe . the throw damage is awesome and feels great. If its 1v1 or less player games I choose dane axe. If game 32v32 I choose the executioner axe. In the team fight Executioner axe more useful.
I like axes cos they remind me of Gimli in lord of the rings. With that said i really like the waxe. I'd place exec higher if it was available to the classes with the healing horn.
I KNEW you would pick the Exe Axe. I see that shitter stomper axe all over the place these days. It's like the new Dane Axe for killing slightly more experienced shitters, since none of them can counter the drags, but some of them have figured out how to stop accels.

What about the 1h axe
As a decent Chiv II player - pub lobbies have gotten much sweatier post console release. I run executioner axe almost exclusively to be a nuisance, pop into a mob get a few heavy swings in and then watch my buddies kill them all while I wait to re spawn. I usually switch to mah mace if someone is coming at me looking like a problem.

@@saaidKing9 I do use it every now and then, especially when the objective is in a close quarters area and then change back as soon as I die when the next objective is coming up.
Id say War Axe is best but only because of the amount of scenarios where it shines, all other axes are great as well but will face issues more frequently due to terrain/location on the map or weaponry of the enemy.
the executioneraxt, Highlandsword, Rapier, hatchet, cavalry sword and this new siege crossbow is bullshit. Katars, this big 2 handed Hammer (Streithammer) ,grudgel, dagger, shovel,pickaxe, Javelin, bow and knife are fun weapons.
Mace, Longsword, shortsword, one handed sword, one handed spear and morning star are try hard weapons
And the rest are weapons for one man Army in Battlefield

dane is said to be a noobkiller weapon and I believed it until I saw a really good play with one. he decimated me and my battle axe.
